To want one night stay in a hotel / lodge / cottage with a hot tub

FFS! It's driving me potty.

DF is having a big birthday this weekend. Lots of suggestions leading up but he's said he'd love to just go on a great big walk, come back and sit in a hot tub sipping wine. Brilliant! I'll sort it.

Cue 5 days later and can't find anything at all, all minimum stays and wanting crazy money (£500+!)

Does anyone know of anywhere?

We're in Lancashire but can travel

I think you'll struggle most places like that for 1 night? Can you stretch to 2?

FredaFox · 11/10/2022 19:40

I was looking for a birthday, I could y find anything for 1 nights guess they lose out just renting out for a Saturday night as there's no guarantee they could rent the Friday plus it's the turnaround time if cleaning the property twice in a weekend
We did 2 nights in the end

Mother87 · 11/10/2022 19:41

Gorgeous cottage in Northumberland will do one night... no hot tub thoughBlush

fuckinghorgel · 11/10/2022 19:42

Most places have a 2 night minimum because of the cleaning/water replacement/it's more convenient for them to say 2 nights minimum.

It's very short notice to be looking for a 1 night stay.

Have you looked at Forest Holidays? Not sure if they do one night but the cabins all have their own hot tub

Mother87 · 11/10/2022 19:43

Ignore that sorry - it's booked🤦🏻‍♀️

SliceOfCakeCupOfTea · 11/10/2022 19:43

There's a website called hot tub getaways or something which is handy!

Have you looked at the secret garden glamping? They release one night stays regularly but you need to watch out for them as they get snapped up. £175 per night

Bottomofthepileasusual · 11/10/2022 19:44

I'd hire a hot tub for the garden

Just look on air b&b

Ubbee · 11/10/2022 19:48

Can you find a place you like and hire the hot tub separately?

Two night minimum but reasonable rates and we really enjoyed it here. Great walks seal spotting nearby

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 11/10/2022 19:59

here is a hotel in Staffordshire where you can have a room with a hottub on your own private patio.

ChocolateSpreadOnToast · 11/10/2022 20:00

Can you not just hire one? I did that earlier in the year for about £100 for 3 nights, it was great.

Ladybug9 · 11/10/2022 20:17

Catgill farm is gorgeous, bit pricier than you'd liked but they have a pay half deposit and half later option and for what you get well worth it x

Bainland Park Lincolnshire do but you have to phone rather than go through the website and it will likely need to be a last minute booking if they have availability

MsAnnFrope · 11/10/2022 22:11

What’s your max budget and how many for?

QueenH · 11/10/2022 22:13

We recently stayed in North Yorkshire to celebrate a milestone birthday. The place was tiny but beautifully decorated and had a wood fired hot tub and beautiful walks and views. www.arbourhill.co.uk

Lady Heyes Glamping Pods with hot tubs per pod posted some cancellations on their Facebook page today for this weekend. They're in Frodsham.

Possibly a bit too far but it's pretty and in the countryside for a long walk!

LittlePumpkinPie21 · 11/10/2022 22:26

I've stayed here before, it's a beautiful Shephard's hut with a hot tub, the host is lovely and it's in the Peak District x
