I’m up with 2 poorly kids and haven’t been able to get any sleep yet! One of them has already thrown up all over his bed so I’ve had to sort that. Not got any sleep so far and don’t think I will get any. I’m exhausted, would just be nice if there’s anyone who’s awake to chat to, sorry

Lots of extra towels on the bed in case of accidents .

I'm awake as my daughter is at a sleepover and I struggle to sleep when she's not here. Stupid I know

I'm awake too! Thinking too much and can't sleep!

I'm in hospital full of drugs to try and stop me projectile vomiting and worse across the bed which I and HCA's have already repeatedly changed between us.

I'm so sorry, so aware of not having to do every part of it myself, or wash it after.

Just watched Doctor Sleep - sequel to the Shining, sort of. That hasn't helped the sleep situation.

I'm awake. On an overnight at work on an island with only 8 other people who are in a different building. Beautiful moon. But just can't settle. Hope the kids are managing to get some sleep.

A little story to bring a smile to your faces and because I am so excited at the turn of events....

Young adult DS's birthday soon.
He was given a teddy on the day he was born from my mum .

Teddy has not faired well into adulthood!

What was a big teddy has now disintegrated to 2 components of just head and legs 😅 thiugh is still lovingly kept on the bed.

Recently ,ds asked if I had a picture of what teddy looked like full size /new

I said maybe but I wasn't looking just now.

Well tonight I found 2 lovely photos of ds and teddy in all his glory !!

I am going to get it enlarged and framed for his birthday present...
cos I am a big sop !

So excited to give it to him 😂

There's a meteor shower imminent. I saw a few shooting stars the other night . Might go out and see how clear it is .

I'm awake working nightshift. Struggling big time to stay awake and already 4 coffees in and a bottle of coke.
