Wouldn't it be more sensible to email the Daily Mail directly?

UKirishdancmum · 05/10/2022 23:06

Shocking carry on. Voy Irish dance uk has the names of the main culprits. Hard evidence in the for of whatsapp messages on voy including an adjudicator arranging sex with an Irish dancing teacger in return for his 1st place the following day.

Why are you starting so many threads about this

UKirishdancmum · 05/10/2022 23:08

I have emailed but they havn't replied. The Irish Independent broke the story tonight but the Daily Mail will finish this "organisation" clrg a courrupt organised criminal gang off properly. On Ireland's RTE radio also tonight.

This needs to be exposed. Children as young as 4 are being used as pawns in this game. There is a huge competition in Glasgow tomorrow & one of the judges uncovered by the media is judging. Parents have been silenced for too long. The Daily Mail needs to get to Glasgow.
Greed, courruption, sex for trophies, lavish holidays all exchanged by these so called adjudicators.

Another world Irish dance 😂

rageapplied · 05/10/2022 23:13

Needs to be exposed by spamming a uk parenting site? When it's already being covered by the newspapers?

if this is already being covered in the news, the Daily Mail won’t want it. Sorry to be blunt, but it’s not an exclusive anymore, and it’s not at all the sort of story the DM are interested in.

ColadhSamh · 05/10/2022 23:25

The whole fecking thing is rotten. Fake wigs, fake tan, heavy make, up competitive parents. Hopefully bring the whole thing down.

UKirishdancmum · 05/10/2022 23:26

It's a shame as I think they would have a field day with this especially if they got up to Glasgow. I'm so upset, I've two daughters involved in competive Irish dance. They love it. It costs us at least 20k a year & then to find out the vast majority of the competitions are rigged. On top of that judges are trading sex with dancing teachers in exchange for podium places.
Go on the voy uk irish dance board for anyone who wants more info. The American publication Irish central has the story also.

That's why I'm desperately trying to get this out in the open where ever I can. Ellen Coyne from the Irish Independent was a huge help to the Irish dancing parents in exposing the adjudicators & the feid fixing. Joe Duffy has been airing it all week, he's absolutely livid especially with the thousands of small children affected globally.

More fool you for spending that money. Irish music and dance should be and is for the vast majority about fun, coming together, sharing craic agus cómhrá not what you do which is all about winning

UKirishdancmum · 05/10/2022 23:44

@ColadhSamh we got sucked in, my children love it. But this has angered me so much. The greed, courruption & the entitlement of these committee members thinking they were above the law..

OP posts:
Dalaidramailama · 05/10/2022 23:45

@ColadhSamh

thats what my daughter does. Irish dances for fun with a show at the theatre every 2 years. Costs us 3 pounds a week.

UKirishdancmum · 06/10/2022 00:24

We might be resorting to this.CLRG the global body have been exposed as a global, courruption ring fixing organised competitions.

rivermanblows · 06/10/2022 00:59

YABU to spam mn as if we all write for the daily mail or care that you spunk £20k a year on such a gross spectacle

UKirishdancmum · 06/10/2022 01:53

I'm sorry it's just there is often one lurking & this is the perfect story for them. The surface has only been scratched

OP posts:
rageapplied · 06/10/2022 07:10

UKirishdancmum · 06/10/2022 07:25

You're right Im not sorry about this global ring of courruption swindling parents out of thousands of pounds

OP posts:
rageapplied · 06/10/2022 07:28

More fool you for spending £400 a week on a child hobby.

StormzyinaTCup · 06/10/2022 07:52

I’m not surprised tbh and have thought that for a long time. It’s big business $$ (especially for the likes of CLRG) and there will always be a few unscrupulous people who don’t have a moral compass and are happy to take backhanders etc.

Its changed since it got a very American presence and in some ways it reminds me of the US beauty pageants. It’s all quite superficial and more what you wear, who designed your dress and wig styles than it is about the actual dancing.

I’d like to see it go back to basics.

I’m glad they are being called out on it, better late than never.

UKirishdancmum · 06/10/2022 10:19

I want them all exposed, a number of school teachers in Ireland have been exposed this week for fixing feises & giving friends relatives top marks in exchange for favours. Trying to get this far & wide

OP posts:
Lifelessordinary1 · 06/10/2022 10:23

My daughter competed nationally and internationally in the 1990/2000's and it was blatant then - also involved the dress makers who were often judges as well.
