What to know about the chargesHere is more about what's in the 34-count indictment.

  • The court filing says the former president "with intent to defraud and intent to commit another crime and aid and conceal the commission thereof, made and caused a false entry in the business records of an enterprise"
  • The charges against Trump are all Class E felonies. That is the lowest category of felony offence in New York and carries a maximum prison sentence of four years per count.
  • Falsifying business records is usually prosecuted as a misdemeanour
  • The Manhattan district attorney's office is escalating the charge by alleging the offence was committed in order to conceal or commit another crime

Here is the big whiney baby. I'd forgotten what his stupid voice was like, and I haven't missed it.

Still on about Hillary's emails lol. They took his clothing at Margarine raid. He's calling everyone names.

He's making it up as he goes along. Third clip is odd. Absolutely NO idea what he is blathering on about. Not sure who 'she' is?

The hilarious thing is the height scale which "makes" him 6ft 5.
His released physical reports lists him as 6'3, and comparisons with other men makes it more likely he's an inch or 2 shorter than that...

We've been watching MSNBC. So far no 'major' admissions or statements from Fox just the namby-pamby "We acknowledge the court's rulings finding certain claims about Dominion to be false blah blah". And when we clicked over to Fox for shits and giggles (don't worry, I bleached my eyes) total 'crickets' regarding the settlement.

I certainly hope the settlement included a much stronger admission of guilt as well as an apology to be aired soon!!

Yes. Sod the money – though obviously that matters to Dominion.

But what really, really matters to me as an inhabitant of planet earth, where Fox's decision to tell lies ripples down to us all, is that Fox News gets very publicly trashed for this behaviour.

In particular the message that Fox lied needs to reach its own viewers. And not just as "wah wah we're being martyred by the deep state" ie the sort of resiling crap Alex Jones of Infowars pulled over the school shooting.

Otherwise Fox and the political groups Fox backed continue to profit from the lies.
