Journalist?

I think they are all busy for few days

limitededitionbarbie · 08/09/2022 21:21

Never. Cba.

I am friends with one on social media and I see their story if they post but I don't acvtiley look him up

JimTheShit · 08/09/2022 21:23

I do, ocasionally. So YANBU. I am happily married though so not sure why. Interested in how badly they’re ageing maybe. And whether their kids are as cute as mine!

Mumoftwoinprimary · 08/09/2022 21:25

Only in my days of being up for hours with non sleeping children.

I got quite bored and quite desperate for entertainment after 3 hours of sitting with a child who doesn’t want to go back to sleep.

I once find myself looking up the brother (that I had never met) of a lad (that I had never met) that had a slight flirtation with my best friend from Year 9. I don’t even think anything happened between them but he spoke to her and that was quite exciting when you were in Year 9!

missbunnyrabbit · 08/09/2022 21:26

Yep, often.

Knittynanna · 08/09/2022 21:30

No. I block, then delete. If they pop up again I block as many times as necessary. I don't look back only forward

GiantTortoise · 08/09/2022 21:31

I have done. Occasionally.

Frazzledmummy123 · 08/09/2022 21:32

I used to have the occasional look at my ex's page years ago on Bebo (social media site before Facebook), however one day he changed his profile from public to private and then shortly after, someone mentioned that they heard that Bebo had a way someone could see who looked at their pages 😬. I never looked him up again, even on Facebook. I read that Facebook can sometimes suggest people who aren't friends but have looked a your page a few times as friend suggestions...

No matter how bored I get, I'm never risking it lol.

MonkNun · 08/09/2022 21:41

Nah. Why would I?

Georgeskitchen · 08/09/2022 21:43

Yes and none of them have aged well. Particularly the one who called me a fat cow and is now morbidly obese 😉

whatthehelldowecare · 08/09/2022 21:46

I do occasionally, I'm happily married.. just nosy 😂

alwaysmovingforwards · 08/09/2022 21:49

No

Oysterbabe · 08/09/2022 21:50

Of course! Just checking that his life is still pretty shit.

weewill · 08/09/2022 21:50

Yep. And my partners ex 🙃

Justanotherwinter · 08/09/2022 22:10

@Frazzledmummy123 I found this out about LinkedIn a little too late

Of course not. That's weird stalker behaviour. I've no interest in them, that's why I dumped them in the first place.

mountainsunsets · 08/09/2022 22:21

Yep - I look up all sorts of people from my past.

Afterfire · 08/09/2022 22:23

I’ve blocked all my exes. So they can’t look me up - unless they go to the trouble of creating a different account or getting a friend to - and I can’t see them. It’s like they never existed. 😁 Perfect!

Jalepenojello · 08/09/2022 22:23

I look up everyone 🤷🏼‍♀️

KermitlovesKeyLimePie · 08/09/2022 22:25

God no! Why on earth would I want to remind myself of past mistakes?
