Do you look ex’s up on social media?

The one ex I would like to check doesn't have social media, lives the other side of the world so no way of watching his life from afar.
I don't check up on other exes tho. I have one on Instagram and Facebook just in general but don't actively check - do see what he's up to though.

Actually the first ex I talk about, I have him on WhatsApp and can see when he was last active so I have actually looked at that from time to time to see. He only ever had the app to talk to me so I know if he's been online he's gone on to see if I have messaged

Yes and I don’t miss or fancy any of them, plus I’m happily married. I’m a nosy bastard and find it interesting to see how they look, who they’ve gone for and what they seem to be up to! One of them has children and I always thought he’d be the most terrible parent so I hope he’s bucked his ideas up!

Generally.. no. However, ds’s dad had posted something that had really upset ds recently, so I did go to look specifically at that post.
Having seen for myself what an idiot ex was being, I suggested ds stop looking and unfollow some of the mutual friends so he wouldn’t have to see his dad’s exploits.
(I also may have used his Facebook profile to track down his current employer for the cms in the past.)

No. What for? I will say hi and have a fhat if we happen to bump into each other. But being interested and invested enough to look them up online? Weird. Lives arent entwined anymore, leave it alone move on

@Thelnebriati I can't remember if this is the same person. On a thread about embarrassing things they've done, they said they facebook searched their exes drunk one night and couldn't understand why nothing happened. Then they gave up and went to bed but got up in the morning to a friend asking why they repeatedly posted their ex's names as facebook statuses 😂😂. There were mutual friends of their ex on their page too 😅.

My (then) teenage ex who treated me dreadfully is single, jobless, and back living with his Mum at the age of 37. Knowing his life is crap gives me immense joy.

Yes. Some for pure nostalgia of my youth, one because he was emotionally abusive and I keep waiting to see when other people see through him.

I'm friends with mine with the exception of ex husband. I occasionally look up out of nosiness.
