Tempted to drink wine in the garden!

Beautiful day here in the NE of England. Very tempted to open a bottle of wine whilst I sit out and read Riders! Inspired by the other thread!

AIBU or should I resist!

If imagine half of the UK is out drinking in their gardens today.

It isn't warm where I am, certainly not garden weather.

It's a Sunday, the sun is shining, presumably you're an adult. A fancy has taken you therefore it would be shame not to indulge it.

On a related note, did you know Netflix are making an adaptation of Rivals?

I saw this via the other thread and dug out my old book. I've just taken up riding lessons as an adult so extra enjoying it.

The reason for resisting is I've lost 5 stone and 3 ponds since March and would love to loose another half a stone before my holidays in October. Once I've had a drink all my control goes!

Nothing wrong with the wine option but I’d pick different reading material 😂

I always think the August bank holiday weekend signals the end of summer. There was an Autumnal chill in the air this morning and the nights are getting darker. Go for it and enjoy the garden while you can!

It’s hot and humid here and although bright it’s cloudy. I yearn for fresher cooler weather.

You are allowed to treat yourself for a day. Life is far too short to not take advantage of being able to chill out in the garden with a cheeky glass of wine and a book.

I love the book Riders, my favourite character is Rupert Campbell Black.

I'm in the garden drinking some excellent Roebuck English fizz and re-reading Polo, go for it! With all the stress and hassle going on these small happy sunshine moments matter (I'm also eating Torres truffle crisps which are the best!).
