To love a shark film

Currently sat watching "Great White" on sky cinema... it got a 1 star waiting.. im loving it!!

Please tell me I am not alone in my love for a good shark film? Also any recommendations on others I might not have seen!

As a diver, I found their ability to survive at that depth, for that long, with that amount of available air, with elevated breathing rates utterly enviable and completely unbelievable. I loved it 😆

I’m thinking about going this weekend. I will be all alone. 😂 Maybe a Barbie/Oppenheimer/Meg big day out!

It’s not a shark film though, there just happen to be gigantic sharks in it. It’s a terrible action film. Terrible script and ideas.

I loved the 1st one. Will be interested To hear what you think when you’ve seen it.

I've just come out of Meg 2 what a shocker! I love a bad shark film and liked the first one but this was just awful

I am desolate that the Meg 2 is terrible, but we'll still be watching it when it's on Plex...

There's two reasons to watch The Meg and one if them is the shark. Use your imaginations for the other 😉

Looking at the reviews I think I'll wait for the charity shop gods to deliver another 50p gift into my hands 😆

it’s my birthday weekend as well and we’ve got a babysitter - such was my excitement for The Meg 2 😞😞😞

So sad about this. Been looking forward to the Meg 2 for about a year. I’ll still go to see it though, obviously

I liked The Meg 2! Went in with super low expectations and it delivered. Obviously it was totally ridiculous but that's what we're here for, right?

saw Meg 2 yesterday. It’s completely ridiculous but ace!! Almost deliberately a parody of Jaws/itself! Loved it

Yep, saw it in 3d yesterday. Plenty of action, ticks my shark film box.

Something of a huge step up from a Shark B-film and neither sharks nor fiction, but for the shark enthusiasts on this thread I'd really really recommend a documentary called Blackfish about Killer Whales/Orcas in marine parks.

I just noticed that it currently on Netflix and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Agreed, Blackfish was excellent and tragic to learn how intelligent and social these creatures are and how we think it's ok to take them from their families and isolate them, or even worse, try to make fake family units.

Just got back from the Meg 2.
It was fantastically unbelievable total shite and I loved every minute of it.

I think you mean a B movie.. and they are ace 🤣🤣check out house shark it’s awful but brilliant

back from Meg 2 - not as bad as i feared! entertaining & cheesy. sure there’s a fair few eye roll / cringe moments but i enjoyed it enough!

what i will say it has more of a (bit dodgy) action / disaster movie feel than a shark movie vibe.

Just back from the Meg 2 and very much enjoyed it! Shamed myself by actually squealing at a bit that made (just me!) jump.

I'm taking advantage of National Cinema Day at the weekend and dragging the DC along 😁
