I'm so sad. What have they done?! 45% less salt = minging crisps 😢

I wish they'd leave things the fuck alone. Got some Heinz beans the other day, the normal sugary salty ones or so I though and they've taken out some of the sugars and replaced with sweeteners, this is despite having the low sugar and salt version. Give people the choice if they want to eat the less healthy ones FFS instead of changing the recipe

So upsetting!! I find this with cereal, Frosties, sugar puffs, frosted shreddies etc. Ruins my day when I fancy a nice nostalgic bowl of sugar!

You can buy Salt & Vinegar Seasoning on Amazon. Don't know if it is any good though.

I've moved over to Burts crisps rather than Walkers. They are MUCH nicer!

I bought some Walkers salt & vinegar Squares last week when it was hot and I felt a bit salt deprived. They tasted good although I rarely buy crisps so cannot really compare.

The price they are at the moment it'll be a while until I find out. Seabrooks currently much better value

McCoys were never the same after they started dicking about with the recipe in the early 90s. The cheese & onion ones used to be amazing, then they were good, now they're acceptable.

I thought my Heinz Beans (not using the z spelling) tasted different. What's the point of having a reduced sugar & salt version if you're going to muck around with the recipe for the main one? Make a good version and make a healthy version.

They’ve done something to Rowntrees fruit gums, so now they’re far too squidgy. Which I suppose is a good thing for me, because I won’t buy them. Not so good for Rowntrees maybe.

Look we know fizzy drinks and crispsajd ready meals etc are bad for you. Which is why on the odd occasion we have them wed like to enjoy them. Put the salt and sugar back please.

The fruit gums have become vegan friendly so they must’ve taken out the gelatine, which I mean is a good thing really if you think about it but now sweets have become wrong.

Their prawn cocktail are revolting now too they taste like sweetener.

I agree about sweets going vegan too, the new fruit pastilles are an abomination and give me stomach ache.

I thought the salt and vinegar crisps thing was just me. I've not been well and thought my taste buds had gone funny. But they just taste so acidy now.

Yanbu!! Agree just leave things alone and let people make their own choices instead of taking out/switching vital ingredients and making it taste of artificial crap.

You need the co-op sea salt and chardonnay vinegar crisps. They're proper turn your face inside out salty and give you headache brain freeze levels of vinegar.

Unless something has changed in the last few days they sell both the original s&v crisps and the 45%less salt version. I tried the ready salted 45% less salt ones and didn't like them so I just buy the original ones. Am hoping they are not phasing the original ones out! 😱

Absolutely gross now, DP couldn’t tell the difference?! So I wondered if it was just me. I won’t buy them again.

Walkers crisps have always been awful. I rue the day they muscled their way into Scotland.

I used to love Walker's S&V... Now I love Tesco's finest S&V... Amazing. Ticks every box.

They’ve messed with the vinegar too. If I wanted to eat healthier then I wouldn’t snack on crisps, I’d have bloody alfalfa seeds or something. They’re twiddling with nature and should stop.
