Has anyone had these?

Bought today hoping they'd be something fun and Jesus Christ they're disgusting!

AIBU or do people agree?

Did you have both of them?

SavingsThreads · 20/07/2022 21:43

Yep. Both awful unidentifiable tastes!

Hippywannabe · 20/07/2022 22:06

Not heard of these! Where do I find them?

Lunadreamer · 20/07/2022 22:09

Surely its not a mystery though. Don't they legally need to list the ingredients on the back? They did this with Fanta and my kids were always amazed that I could guess the flavour!

PestorPeston · 20/07/2022 22:13

Mystery flavoured soy cream? Mmmm

Ontomatopea · 20/07/2022 22:18

The ingredients list just says "flavourings"

MyDogsTheBestDog · 20/07/2022 22:26

The only mystery of Cadbury is why people keep buying the ruined, Americanised crap

BiggerthanIusedtobe · 20/07/2022 23:53

I still love Cadbury's. Still addictive for me. But what do the mystery ones taste like OP? I hadn't heard of them.

SavingsThreads · 21/07/2022 16:23

I can't work out the flavours. One seemed like bubblegum. Both similar, both awful

I don’t put things in my mouth unless I know what they are. 😏

Meraas · 21/07/2022 16:31

Seems like a waste of money when I can buy a big bar of Whole Nut for £1.50.

Ilikecheesycrackers · 21/07/2022 16:34

I saw an ad for this on the bus shelter today. My immediate thought was "anything for eating that's mystery will likely taste disgusting".

Now I don't need to buy one to find out that my thought was accurate!

HinchcliffeandMurgatroyd · 21/07/2022 16:38

Do you think it’s an experimental batch gone wrong ghat they’re trying to shift with clever marketing? 😁

Ilikecheesycrackers · 21/07/2022 16:43

@HinchcliffeandMurgatroyd could be!

But I also think my reaction has something to do with how people respond to food - what we think about it, the anticipation of pleasure, is part of the pleasure and affects our experience of it. Whereas we are often suspicious of unknown foods as in times past they could have been poisonous.

Vates · 21/07/2022 16:47

Would never buy these as there are a few flavours I absolutely cannot stand, e.g. mint chocolate. They can stick those horrid sounding hot cross bun flavour bars in the fire too.

Favouritefruits · 21/07/2022 16:49

Oh it’ll be something gimmicky and retched like roasted squirrel or vomit fruit. No way I’d waste calories on that I’d rather have a dairy milk and no what I’m getting!

BiggerthanIusedtobe · 21/07/2022 22:56

Bubble gum is sort of disgusting but not very interesting at the same time. As a PP said, why bother when you can get a nice bar of wholenut?

scotstarstrikestwo · 24/07/2022 14:56

They both taste so weird. I ate a stir of 4 squares of each and detected at least 4 different flavours in each one.

Simonem93 · 25/07/2022 21:21

One is absolutely coconut the mystery bar 2

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 25/07/2022 21:26

I'm guessing at coconut for mystery bar 1 and raspberry for mystery bar 2 but neither are nice.

PolaDeVeboise · 25/07/2022 21:30

No 2 is just sweet and tasteless. No way is that supposed to be raspberry.

DuckWithOneWing · 25/07/2022 21:38

We guessed a fruit praline for 1! Haven't tried 2 yet.

JudgementalCentipede · 26/07/2022 21:22

Where can I find these??

Hotpolarbear · 27/07/2022 22:26

We thought bar 1 was passionfruit
