Has anyone had these?

Bought today hoping they'd be something fun and Jesus Christ they're disgusting!

AIBU or do people agree?

Not heard of these! Where do I find them?

Poundland have them!

The only mystery of Cadbury is why people keep buying the ruined, Americanised crap

Sorry but I disagree, I adore Cadbury's chocolate.

mackthepony · 29/07/2022 03:00

What if you have allergies?

Xmasfairy86 · 29/07/2022 12:09

Was hoping someone had deciphered them!
but each time I try it, it tastes different 🤦🏽‍♀️

not buying it over again, still getting through the original purchase 🤣

roses2 · 29/07/2022 12:24

I don't get the marketing appeal of this one. It's not even a lower cost than the standard bars so why buy it?

The likes of Hotel Chocolat have "mystery bags" but these are factory seconds or close to expiry and the price is reflective of that!

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 29/07/2022 14:37

Well the unthinkable happened and I threw chocolate in the bin.

Mystery bar 1 had sat in the fridge for a few days as I thought maybe it would improve if it was firmer, but no. Couldn't think of anything else I could do with it as the cream centre means it's no good for cooking with and everyone else in the house thought it was horrible too.

ImJustMadAboutSaffron · 30/07/2022 23:36

I think one's blueberry and the other praline. They're not as bad as people make out, but definitely not one of my favourites.

wishingchair1 · 30/07/2022 23:53

I thought one was parma violet. Don't think the second had coconut due to nut allergies even though not a nut, has similar traits.

StolenWillowTree · 30/07/2022 23:55

Haven't been able to find them yet!

The only Cadbury's chocolate I really like is Freddos, and Easter Eggs. I don't know why but they both taste like Cadbury's used to taste, while other bars taste all waxy and horrible and just completely different!

What if you have allergies?

A PP mentioned they still have to have a list of ingredients on the packaging

Bogiesaremyonlyfriend · 01/08/2022 12:40

I thought the 2nd one was rose flavour, like Turkish delight

Libre55 · 11/08/2022 21:13

No 1 had a praline taste, and no2 had a taste like those foamy bananas. Both really sickly and would not buy again.

DixonD · 11/08/2022 21:20

Not for me! I wouldn’t buy one as I like to know what I’m getting.

watermelonlipbalm · 11/08/2022 22:10

I didn't like the first bar at all...
The second was ok.

But overall I was disappointed in both of them.
I just want them to bring those Cadbury ritz chocolate bars back, they were unreal!

TiaraBoo · 11/08/2022 22:20

Disgusting. Really not sure what I was thinking when I bought them.

Well you wouldn't really be thinking anything as you didn't know what they were like, that was the point! Ask yourself that question if you buy any more, as I will not be doing!

FredGarland · 11/08/2022 22:35

Whichever one we had tasted of raspberry and vanilla.
I've finally thrown it out today after it sitting on the side for nearly a week. With three teenagers in the house, all on summer holidays, for it to remain uneaten is testament to its overly sweet, synthetic nastiness.

Mumdiva99 · 17/08/2022 12:21

We tried them yesterday. I guessed blueberry for number 2 and rose for number 1 (I think it was that way around).

I don’t put things in my mouth unless I know what they are. 😏

This is a v good principle to live by.

I thought rose for number 2 😆

LynetteScavo · 17/08/2022 17:46

I'm such a control freak there is no way I would buy one of these.

ClarksonsGirlfriend · 18/08/2022 01:42

One was def blueberry. The other I think raspberry praline

Pieceofpurplesky · 18/08/2022 02:08

One was a pineappley/bananay thing - like a shit pina colada. DS guessed soap.
The other was nutty and fruity altogether.
