I'm TRAPPED!! (Lighthearted...ish)

NC'd because it's embarrassing.

My kitchen is at the back of my house, there's a 4ft high fence between me and my lovely neighbours. They can see very much into my kitchen if they're in their garden. Neighbours are in the 80s. I'm very, very, very pregnant and very, very, very hot. I'm in my pants, bra and a pair of sliders because of the heat. I sat behind my kitchen table to join a video call with my family this morning (it's my brother's birthday). By the time the call ended, the neighbours had a big group of friends over for some kind of party/gathering/lunch - all in the garden. There's no way for me to get up without them all seeing me in my full underweared pregnant glory. We have massive windows on the back of the kitchen and they're honestly about 3m away from me. I keep making awkward eye contact with everyone - lots of nods and little waves - they can't see how naked I am as long as I stay sat behind this table.

I haven't moved since 9.30 this morning - no signs of the group dispersing. I'm trapped.

I'm sorry but that is funny. I think you just to take a deep breath, stand up and walk out the kitchen with your head held high! You must be bursting for the loo by now - bless ya.
In future, carry a sarong just in case!

Nooooo!!!!!

Style it out. Walk as quickly as you are able out of the kitchen and go put something light coloured on. Noone who sees you will think you're actually just in pants and a bra (could be a bikini for all they know).

You've been sat there 5 hours?! How is that possible without needing a wee, snack, stretch, drink or other pregnancy related need? Either stand up and strut confidently across your kitchen or drop to the floor and do a sideways army crawl until you reach the door.

Any useful shrubs on the table, magazines, open up the laptop, can you style out the pants as bikini bottoms as long as no one sees your bra.......

Within my reach, I only have my laptop, the table and a chair. I can't brazen this out - there's just no way at all to brazen this out. Windows are floor to ceiling. The table is my only protection.

Do you know their landline number? Turn off caller id and ring them, then when they all turn away briefly try and move?

Or make a tea towel dress by knotting them.

Or use your phone torch to blind them?

These all require moving fast though 🤔

Also, I sure at hell wouldn't wear a bikini either at 37 weeks pregnant!!

Honestly at this point I'd just stand up and walk away, maybe do a little stallion walk a la Beyonce to show you're cool with the situation.

I have birth to ds in a hit country. Makes this current heatwave temps seem low.

O lived in a Bikini and the pool! Right up until 40+5 when my stares broke Grin

Youd have passed the window in seconds, chances are noone would have even noticed you & if they did would have barely given it a second thought
