Abortion banned in order to try to increase birth rate of white babies...

I saw this, not sure what to make of it:

Apparently 60% of abortions are to white mothers*. The theory, for those who worry about the preservation of the white population (hmm), is that if these are reduced the white population can maybe protect itself from ever becoming a minority. It sounds crazy but it's made me wonder.

*not sure if they have considered the father's race in this statistic.

I think the right to abortion has been banned because women are still seen as breeders, its rooted in misogyny, but now wonder if so called 'preservation of the white race' is also a factor.

I think it’s actually very possible there’s truth to this. On Shaun Kings IG he posted a video of some republican nut with Trump behind her at a rally saying this was a win for ‘white lives’.
Dont forget that the white supremacists believe there is a race war going on and that white people in America will become the minority.

The thinking processes of Americans are a mystery to me.

Nothing would surprise me. Or that’s what I keep thinking then something else utterly batshit happens there. So keen on the life of foetuses, so keen on the potential for death by guns and the state sponsored murder by capital punishment.

That’s so fucked up, for so many reasons. Primarily because there is only one human race, thinking otherwise is stupid. I bet most Americans have a mixture of ancestry.

I think the fact adoption is big business and money in America is no coincidence, and of course they’ll be needing the right type of baby to sell

The racists are pushing this line that white women have too much access to abortion. It doesn't make sense as a racist breeding strategy unless you push for simultaneous compulsory sterilisation & deportation & increased infant mortality experienced by brown women, but heyho, maybe that's part of the plan.

In the US black women have abortions at a much higher rate than white women so this makes no sense.

The UK birth rate is declining amongst all races. So either incentives for working families will be introduced and encouragement to have more children, or they'll tighten access to abortions (which is stupid as that will affect the workforce even more).

A Republican congresswoman, when thanking Trump for his role in getting rid of Roe at one of his rallies, called it a ‘victory for white life’.

The American right wing are fixated with 'replacement theory' which is the idea that minorities are taking over the country. So it doesn't surprise me if there is truth to this.

Yes. This is what this whole thing is really about. The Times is even running a 'grow our own' manifesto of sorts. Thing is Europe has a largely ageing population and white women just aren't keeping up with others in terms of baby having. There's nothing even suspicious about it. It's to preserve whiteness.

Black women have around 4 times the amount of.abortions compared white women in the usa. So yabu.

That might be true but as they're a minority wouldn't that still mean that the majority of aborted fetuses are white? As even if WOC had 5% pregnancies end in abortion but white women only 10%, there would still be more white fetuses aborted.

Also this wouldn't surprise me (as in the theory from the OP) considering the "white lives " slip up combined with the majority of law makers being old white men who lived during a time when lynchings still happened. It's awful.

I think it’s misogyny rather than racism that’s behind this.

Some people can’t hear the idea that it’s up to women whether or not they have a child. I think that’s all there is to it.

Is the narrative supposed to be that only "educated liberal white women" (plus a few misled nice ordinary white women) are the ones getting abortions, so once deprived of legal right they will breed like rabbits?

Women of colour are over-represented among those getting abortions in USA; less access to abortion -> more babies of colour being born relative to white babies being born. So... how does that help the white supremicists? It doesn't make sense as a useful strategy to the "white race" unless they bring slavery back. Maybe that's a plan. Who knows.

Far right Christian organisations profit from adoption so need more babies, obviously preferably white.

Keeps women down and further traps low income families into the poverty cycle. This means more people who will work for less, be more desperate, not unionise and accept even worse pay and conditions.

Controls women (obviously) and protects rich white men who can secure discreet terminations for their mistresses.

I explained this to my DD yesterday and how it is linked to white supremacy. She couldn’t even fathom something so evil.

This is quite good, the white supremecist agenda is to keep abortion going for brownies not whities. Earliest links i can find talking about that are 2018. There's a simultaneous whole angle of persuading people of colour to oppose abortion on (facts support this) basis that most abortions are performed for women of colour, therefore pro-choice is a conspiracy to prevent them from multiplying.
