IMO someone who’s desperate moves too fast too soon. Or keeps texting/calling/trying to contact the other person when they’re not necessarily getting anything back. Is way more keen on the other person than the other person is on them.

Desperate is someone who is over keen way too quickly.

I know someone whose boyfriend met her once or twice and then declared his love. She agreed it was full on and weird, yet still progressed the relationship. I guess she was just as desperate and have no doubt she would have had anybody who showed an interest to be honest.

I think there is a fine line between that and love bombing, but I think they’re slightly different.

unfortunately two desperate people can meet each other, they go full ping at it, like in a proper rush, it always ends in disaster.

It’s always the ones who go on about being ok alone too.

It’s the furthest thing from the truth. , when two desperate people meet it’s like the world explodes, they go at it for a few weeks, acting like they are loved up, a proper couple, introducing to friends and family, ignorning the warning signs, and then it disintegrates hard and fast.
