To hate Bing? (Lighthearted)

I cannot stand that whiny black rabbit. His stupid baby talk and his silly moany voice... stop whinging 🙈 I hear enough whining from my 1yo 😂 I just want to give him a shake.

Between Bing and Justin's House, i don't know which I hate more 😂

What are your most hated kids tv programmes?

Bing and Bluey are our worst ones for DD so they are now banned. Her behaviour was so awful after watching them. There are so many better tv shows she can watch.

Palmtree9 · 28/06/2022 09:18

I agree!! I hate the bad grammar that my son then tries to copy (I hurted my hand)

Any of the Justin Fletcher ones as well in this house

Muddywoof · 28/06/2022 09:18

You just couldn't wait your turn could you Bing -_-
Don't get me started on Pando. Waffle the Wonder Dog is the worst though.

Lollypop701 · 28/06/2022 09:19

bing Is slang for cocaine ….just wondering if The program is a bit of a mickey take….

MountainMummy95 · 28/06/2022 09:21

Have to admit, I rather enjoy Bluey 😂

YES. The baby talk makes my skin crawl. And when I says 'I was sad' in that really moany drawl, I find myself saying 'good.' 😂

Everyone hates Bing, don't they? Even my kids hated it!

VestaTilley · 28/06/2022 09:26

Bing the whingey bunny I call him! Absolute pain.

I don’t like Paw Patrol either, and am limiting Peppa as it makes DS play up.

The best thing I can recommend are the old 80s/90s classics on YouTube - original Postman Pat, original Thomas the Tank Engine, Beatrix Potter’s World of Peter Rabbit and Friends, The Wind in the Willows (cartoon, circa 1994/5). So much nicer, politer characters(!), gentler and much better storylines.

Onlyrainbows · 28/06/2022 09:26

My son (who's almost 3) loves Bing and carries his Bing bunny everywhere!

HelpMeGetThrough · 28/06/2022 09:26

I thought you meant the internet search engine.

It's been a long day already!! 😩

Kanaloa · 28/06/2022 09:28

I used to hate Mickey Mouse clubhouse but I don’t know why. I remember dd used to sing M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E really loudly. And hot dog hot dog hot diggery dog. It used to make my head feel tight. But realistically there was nothing wrong with the programme.

I was partial to a bit of Dora though. Also liked a lot of programmes as they got older.

Americano75 · 28/06/2022 09:28

I thought you meant Chandler Bing and I was going to flame you so hard!

Kanaloa · 28/06/2022 09:31

I also used to find myself (years ago) lying on the couch after ds was asleep still watching in the night garden. What a load of rubbish that show was but it was so hypnotizing. DS used to have the big book of it. I read it so much I didn’t even have to look at the pages. I don’t know why kids love that programme so much.

britneyisfree · 28/06/2022 09:32

Justin's house is lit. Love watching it with my little girl, DH and I have learnt the songs and every time someone knocks the door we say: who's at the door..... someone better answer it!😂😂😂😂

Bing is shit though, I agree. Fortunately she's not really fussed about him and will only watch occasionally

phoneybaloney · 28/06/2022 09:34

@VestaTilley I agree the older kids programmes are much nicer. My DS age 3 was watching some old Postman Pat the other day. He absolutely loved it and I did think at the time how the older programmes are nicer. 🙂

I quite like Bluey. I love how engaged and imaginative the parents are.

I have a big age gap between my two kids. My eldest (now almost 18) absolutely LOVED Bing, to the point I'd want to cry when he brought the books to me ha ha. But there were only books back then. No TV show or toys. A simpler less whingy time ha ha.

MountainMummy95 · 28/06/2022 09:35

My DD is currently totally obsessed with Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom. It's a pity netflix only has one series of it. I actually dont mind it.

I've found that a lot of other programmes have become more obnoxious in recent years. I watched spongebob when I was a kid and loved it... it happened to come on the other day and the new series' are so much louder and stranger and much more annoying than they used to be. I've noticed that with a lot of re-boots too.

Ahahahaha nooo... although Ross is my fave - unpopular opinion, I know!

DD is 5 now so through the worst but Bing was intolerable. Some lovely shows for them at that age though, Sarah and Duck, Bluey, Puffin Rock.

I have banned PJ Masks as it seems to turn her evil

Glitterspy · 28/06/2022 09:39

DD is now 9 but I loathed wimpy Bing, those stupid, ever-patient “parents” and that selfish idiot Pando who’s character was basically Boris Johnson in a plushie suit.

I adored Peppa Pig (sleep deprived madness probably)

Kids are too old for the Bluey craze. But apparently it’s amazing and I’ve missed out there!

3amAndImStillAwake · 28/06/2022 09:41

I blocked cocomelon from our Netflix account and told DD I didn't know why it had just disappeared. The songs were driving me round the bend.

BlueBeeSpots · 28/06/2022 09:41

I don’t see the point of the clangers… it can’t be that popular as I never see Clangers toys in the shops? Much prefer in the night garden and that cute show with the onion that says onions all the time. Jojo and gran gran is great too. Hey Duggee is the champ though 😂

(I watch too much CBeebies!)

HelloAllll · 28/06/2022 09:42

Wait until they find Blippi!

PermanentlyTired03 · 28/06/2022 09:46

I it on bing when my daughter is really tired but won't sleep it makes her drift off!
Hate cocomelon. The chirpy American accents irritate me!

I really like the clangers! Much more than I like In the Night Garden.

No... that show with the onions is honestly creepy. Collywobble (or whatever it's called) is the stuff of nightmares.

DH and I are traumatised by Ben and Holly. Not because it's even that bad but it was what my daughter was obsessed with in winter 2020 so it just reminds us of being stuck in lockdown with really shitty weather outside.
