To invite all Mumsnetters to remember Noah Donohoe today, on the 2nd Anniversary of his disappearance?

All Mumsnetters are warmly invited to post here to remember Noah and in support of Fiona and Niamh. The 3 images I have attached are from his mummy Fiona Donohoe and his auntie Niamh Donohoe.

Some Mumsnetters will have seen my threads and those of other Mumsnetters about beautiful Belfast child Noah Donohoe. At 6.11pm today, it will be 2 years since Noah was last seen alive. It was the last ever day that Noah and his mummy Fiona could exchange a hug and say 'I love you'. Then Noah cycled off to meet his schoolfriends to work on his Duke of Edinburgh Award, but he never arrived. After Noah had been missing for 6 days, his naked body was retrieved from a storm drain.

Noah's mummy Fiona and auntie Niamh are still having to fight very hard for the truth about his death and for justice for Noah. If you haven't already signed, a link to Fiona's petition, so far with 307,442 signatures, can easily be found in the OP of this thread here:

You're right @IsFuzzyBeagMise , it is outrageous. So many things have been outrageous from the police (PSNI) response to Noah and Fiona right from when Noah was first reported missing, and since his body was found from the coroner, politicians and media too. An innocent child and his grieving mother deserve so much better. 💙

There's no justification for the actions of the PSNI.

They absolutely made a pigs ear of the investigation from the start.

One cannot help but wonder why they are so incompetent when it comes to certain cases in NI.

I remember Noah, and his Mam Fiona and we in the Republic want to know what happened to this child.

So many people care about Noah and his family now and demand to see justice for him and the truth for Fiona and Niamh. 💙

Sometimes you read a story and the whole thing just seems so bizarre that it surely can't be true. How can a professional (?) police force believe that Noah cycled to a strange part of town, stripped all his clothes off, found a storm drain that just happened to be unlocked, crawled into it and died but there were no suspicious circumstances? It would be a blockbuster movie.

But it wasn't. It was a young boy's life. It's not a film. It's not fiction. It's an absolute disgrace. How anyone in the PSNI can sleep at night I don't know. How Chief Constable Simon Byrne can look at himself know the mirror I don't know.

I dont know Fiona, I didn't know Noah, I only know Belfast as a visitor. But I feel so much anger on behalf of Noah and his family.

You have been treated so badly, I am so sorry. Noah deserves so much more than this.

Fiona I am sending you all the love and strength in the world. On Friday I'll be enjoying the start of the summer holidays with my 16 yr old son and you'll be at a virtual inquest for yours. Not even in person. It's not fair. I will be thinking of your Noah on Friday.

Thank you for your posts @catandcoffee and @User280905 - like the Met, I believe that the PSNI should be in special measures. Nothing will do now except for a new and independent investigation, and almost certainly a public inquiry.

Unfortunately I understand there has been more bad news, possibly to be released tomorrow.
