All Mumsnetters are warmly invited to post here to remember Noah and in support of Fiona and Niamh. The 3 images I have attached are from his mummy Fiona Donohoe and his auntie Niamh Donohoe.

Some Mumsnetters will have seen my threads and those of other Mumsnetters about beautiful Belfast child Noah Donohoe. At 6.11pm today, it will be 2 years since Noah was last seen alive. It was the last ever day that Noah and his mummy Fiona could exchange a hug and say 'I love you'. Then Noah cycled off to meet his schoolfriends to work on his Duke of Edinburgh Award, but he never arrived. After Noah had been missing for 6 days, his naked body was retrieved from a storm drain.

Noah's mummy Fiona and auntie Niamh are still having to fight very hard for the truth about his death and for justice for Noah. If you haven't already signed, a link to Fiona's petition, so far with 307,442 signatures, can easily be found in the OP of this thread here:

Prayers for Fiona, Niamh and the rest of the family.
Prayers that the truth will come out. And that justice will be done for Noah.

This is a disgrace that there have been no developments and it all feels like a massive cover up. Poor Noah - a beautiful, accomplished, black, Catholic boy - was obviously murdered and his poor mother has just been left to deal with this. The authorities clearly know who has done this. And yet nobody has been brought to justice.

How many years has it been now in total?

I know graffiti appeared which spelt out what happened. And yet nothing?

And has the mysteriously missing CCTV footage ever turned up?

Donal's documentary is held up because of the impending Inquest for Noah. Nothing can currently be published or reported that may influence the jury. That includes on here. For that reason @Rosieatthenagshead it would be best if you report your two posts of this morning and ask MNHQ to withdraw them. Many thanks.

💙It will soon be 4 years and 8 months since Noah died. The above 3 links give information on where we are now, within what is currently permitted to report ahead of the impending Inquest. The next preliminary hearing is on 26 February with the full Inquest hopefully beginning before the summer. 💙

I do not understand what is happening.

New Development

Dear supporters
Many thanks as ever for your unwavering support on this campaign. Rest assured that we remain committed to the case although we are restricted by what we can say. You should know that I have provided the Coroner with a substantial statement on some important aspects of our investigation. This is being considered for inclusion by the coroner. We again, cannot say anything in relation to its contents and are abiding by the Attorney General's advice under threat of contempt of court.
We continue to revisit old leads and also open up new lines of enquiry.
Separately, there is another development imminent which will be reported. When it is - I shall update you further in so far as I can under the current legal restrictions.
Once again, many thanks for all your support - the work continues as we enter our fifth year on the investigation.

2nd update from The Independent Noah Donohoe Investigation

Dear all,
As you all know the inquest has been constantly re-scheduled. (….) We remain ever grateful for your support but every day the inquest is delayed more information is coming forward so the delay is both a blessing and a frustration.
It is provisionally scheduled for before the summer but that is optimistic in my view. I will keep you updated. Meanwhile we continue to film and build upon all our good work which you all have made possible. We anticipate editing in some sequences from the inquest for the film to keep it up to date and we are confident that you will be pleased by the output of our hard work on your behalf. We simply couldn't do it without you.

PSNI 'SPYING' ON INVESTIGATION TEAM

Allegations that the PSNI spied on me and potentially Fiona Donohoe (Noah's mummy) as a consequence of our investigation (into Noah's death) are made today as calls are made for an inquiry into these shocking allegations.

It is hugely distressing to the family and it is notable that the PSNI have not denied the allegations.

Direct allegations were put to them by the Belfast Telegraph yesterday but the PSNI refused to deny the concerns which were brought to them by a whistle-blower in the PSNI. It is extraordinary the force would stoop so low in relation to Noah's death. No one is surprised by journalists being bugged by the PSNI but Noah's family and the journalists investigating the case - the question is WHY? We need to know exactly what happened and who authorised this.

I cannot think of a more distressing and appalling action by the PSNI and it is telling that it has made no attempt to deny the allegations which are currently being investigated by the McCullough Review (looking into their spying on journalists).

Please contact your political representatives and protest at this appalling vista. If the PSNI spied on me then it would have intercepted my communications with Fiona. How appalling is that! This casts a sinister spectre over the whole case.
This is a developing story. And I will update later today.

No there is radio silence. Operation Schtum from every quarter. Nothing to see here. The police have even slapped some sort of restrictive order on the case so that some details can not be made public. Nobody has seen anything.

Dear Supporters
You will know that we are constrained by the Courts from publishing any information that might compromise the adjudication of the inquest by a jury. This will take place as best we are aware in November later this year.
Rest assured though - we remain on the case, filming, writing, reviewing and interviewing: and most of all investigating Noah's tragic demise. It is now over five years since he lost his life and only the support of his mother Fiona and her family has kept his case in the spotlight. We are inspired by their dedication and determination to continue our work in Noah's name. This work has only been possible with your support and extraordinary donations. For that we are forever grateful. Our investigation is your investigation. I shall update you as best I can in due course but I have already presented a 12 thousand word statement to the Coroner for his consideration and the consideration of the Properly Interested Parties.

This is just one example of the work we have done and continue to do in your name and in Noah's memory..

I just don’t understand what is going on behind the scenes but thinking of a mother who has lost her beloved child.

I don’t think anyone really understands exactly what has gone on or why. But it’s clearly much more complicated and potentially sinister situation than the authorities would have liked to have us believe.
The police seem to have gone to great lengths to prevent the facts from being known. Huge amounts of cctv footage is “missing” despite Noah’s journey being on a route with tens if not hundreds of cameras. Very few witnesses despite this happening in the middle of a residential area in the middle of lockdown. Police declaring no foul play within minutes of his body being recovered before any medical examination or autopsy being carried out.
Thats before we get onto the reporting restrictions and police requests for a sizeable amount of information to be kept out of the public domain. Why would they do that if it is as they say - a simple case of misadventure?
The list of failures in this enquiry is unbelievable.

Dear Supporters
The inquest is about to start into the circumstances around Noah's death. This inquest is asking how, when and where Noah died - our investigation covers more ground but with your support we have supplied multiple reports, interviews and video material to the Inquest. Our multiple submissions challenge the PSNI's investigation in a number of key areas and raise some upsetting concerns that the Inquest will interrogate. We submitted our final material to the coroner last week and you will hear throughout the PSNI and others contest our evidence. While I am not there to defend it as part of the process I am confident that it will stand up to scrutiny and that our book, film and other content will demonstrate its full value in due course.
While I have offered my services as a witness it has not been taken up but doubtless the coroner and the parties with representation including counsel for Fiona and the Noah's family will use our evidence to assist the jury in their adjudications.
As soon as the inquest is finished we will deliver our book, film and other media materials to you and the public. Thereafter and it will be some weeks after the team will pass onto the supporters the materials promised at the outset. The book for example needs a six week run up to the print run before publication and the film in the early stages of the edit will have to include all the material in the likely 10 week inquest period.
Please be patient as we will be following the inquest daily with daily updates on Instagram and on X - and here so you can keep apprised of developments. Remember the work that we have done and submitted to the inquest is only as a result of your funding - so where you see our name - know that you all have contributed to hold justice to power and accountability in check - to ensure that Noah get justice - and the investigation he deserves.
These are difficult times for Fiona and all Noah's family and there are in our thoughts and prayers over the weeks and months ahead.

Mr Justice Rooney, who is the coroner in the case stated last week, ahead of the Inquest starting today:
“I’ve been at pains to emphasise the importance and risks of social media posts about the inquest.
“Some PIPs (properly interested parties) have raised issues about recent social media posts, and they may … require to be explored in some more detail in due course.
“However it bears repeating that no-one, whether involved in the inquest, or in the general public, should engage in any social media activity which might prejudice the inquest process, particularly given the proximity of the inquest.
“The consequences of such activity could be serious, not only for the progress of the inquest, but also for any person engaged in inappropriate social media activity.”

Everyone, please keep Noah, Fiona and family in your thoughts, hearts and prayers, and please take heed of the coroner's highly important warning above.
