I just paid £20 to the laundrette for cleaning a synthetic single duvet - 4.5 tog. (I do think they ripped me off to certain level because the duvet has a label "Made in France". And they don't have a fixed price list, all by feelings.)
Our household washing machine wouldn't be able to handle washing duvets. And if wool duvets just need sunbathing now and then but don't need to get washed, why shouldn't I replace all duvets with woolly ones? A Forgary single all-season one on sale costs £52 and I don't need to pay an outrageous amount of money to clean it.
Can someone provide good reasons against this idea please?
