I am really beginning to think that I am miserable 😅

my car/drive as now become the local hang out spot for people wanting to buy drugs off the neighbours, I heard a lot of noise outside the other night I had a look to find that they were all leaning against my car having a good old chat.

AIBU to be annoyed about people using my car to prop themselves up?

Report the selling of the drugs to the police.

Set up a very obvious security camera. They won’t want to do drug deals on front of it. And if they do you’ll have actual evidence to pass on to the police.

Can you get an alarm of some sort installed which will trigger if your car is leant on? They won't be so keen to loiter if your car is blasting at them.

Our street had a carol concert a couple of years ago... A woman took it upon herself to plonk her arse on my new car's bonnet!!. Cf!!
And mnet said I was being petty!!

Could you get a motion detector security light to point towards your car. That will light them all up nicely! Perhaps they will move somewhere else as a response?!

if they stay and are stupid enough to deal drugs under the glare of a spotlight, hopefully the police will have more of a clear idea of what’s going on!

It's not illegal to lean against someone's car - so if you want to find a way to stop it, then yes, you should pay. That is not a police matter.

Police didn't do anything when our house was regularly being pelted with stones and eggs. But once we bought a private cctv in desperation they were happy to come round asking to see footage to clear up other crimes. Never did catch the stones mob.

That sounds horrible. Have you spoken to your MP? Might help prod the police into doing something more.
