a phone is such a private thing these days: it feels to me like an extension of my thoughts.... I would be mortified if anyone I know found the stuff I look at.

Every home in my local area currently for sale, especially the ones I could never afford
That I like watching gaming videos as much as beauty vlogs
That I really like political podcasts

my phone also knows about every house for sale in the local area: and must be under the impression that I can afford houses in random parts of the uk that are over £1m

• spend far to long on MN chat forums... even though I'm not a mum
• spend hours playing a stupid game that is completely pointless
• that my life is pretty dull 😆 but I'm happy with that!

My phone also knows every property out of budget in my area.
And that i google useless fact on an hourly basis!

my phone (via spotify ) knows that I have a huge love of the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams.
My family have no.idea that I listen to lots of classical music these days.

It listens. Mention something obscure then see what ads come up later. I mentioned buying binoculars to DH. I didn’t look them up I just said for sone of our trips it would be really good to have some….guess what adverts popped up!

Very little as I do the vast majority of my surfing on Mac Book or iPad.
It sometimes knows that I log in to work as I have to authenticate myself using biometrics, but I can do this either on the phone or on the iPad, whichever is closest to hand.
