I think a lot of the British royal males were attractive as young men - even Charles and certainly Prince Philip, William and Harry.

Sadly, they don’t age well!

I don’t remember him when I was young, as I’m 32 now, so he was quite a bit older when I was in my early teens.

Just saw a video about the Royals and I saw him and thought “Who is that?!” I couldn’t believe it was Edward.
Now he’s balding and older, I wouldn’t recognise him!

I think Phillip was very handsome as a young man too. I can see him in Edward in those pics.

Definitely right about the Royals not growing old well! Especially the men…I think it’s the balding.

I saw pictures of him as a youngster at the weekend and barely recognised him.

The royal men age very badly. The women definitely fare better.

I'm going to have to reveal now that I'm in my early 30's but I can definitely see the appeal in the young prince Phillip/Duke of Edinburgh.

I met Edward at my son's DofE presentation. He was a fusty little old man, wearing a bloody awful suit. I think he was about 55. My son, who had no idea who he was, guessed his age at nearer 70.

Edward and dare I say Andrew were both gorgeous looking young men. Edward is still a lovely looking man and good inside too and he has a lovely family with Sophie and there two DC

I never knew him young, but it immediately made me think of this entry in Adrian Mole’s diary for 29/7/81 AKA Charles and Di’s wedding day.

I've always thought Viscount Severn is a very good-looking Royal, now we know the attractiveness comes at least partly from his dad as well as his mum!

I really like Edward & think there's still something attractive about him now.

In time, we may see more of him (I read somewhere he was in line to take on more of Philip's old duties) and I'd be glad to see that.

Charles will be King, Anne will continue to work as she does now & hopefully Andrew will continue to catch political Covid so that we see nothing of him.
