I know it's not everyone's idea of a great night but FFS they could have at least pretended to enjoy it. I excuse the kids but some of them sitting with faces like slapped arses didn't make much of an effort. It comes with the job.

As someone with a naturally grumpy looking face when I'm feeling completely neutral and even quite happy, I wish people would stop judging people they don't know by facial expressions! Maybe she just has the sort of face that looks like that when she's perfectly pleasant and happy, and just doesn't show it the way other people think she should. Or that she looks odd when she smiles or laughs so she has learned not to express it in that way, because the press has made fun of her looks before. Who knows. Yes, sometimes you can tell what people are feeling by their faces, but sometimes not, and it always makes me feel cross when I'm accused of it, even when I was really quite enjoying myself up until then.

Honestly, sitting somewhere for 2 hours your natural resting bitch face is going to surface...there are plenty of photos today showing happy, giggly faces. Just because they don't have a smile for the whole time doesn't mean they weren't paying attention.

I've seen a mix of photos of them looking bored and looking like they are having a great time.
