@Notanotherwindow I thought that about Charlotte but then she'd been dragged around Cardiff all day at another Jubilee celebration so she was probably knackered and just wanted to be at home with an iPad watching YouTube.

I'm glad someone asked about the miserable woman, because I wondered who she was too.

Yes I often do too, but it's a real effort to have to try to pretend to look some other way, just so I don't get judged, and sometimes I resent the fact that I have to try so hard to look the way other people expect, when really I'm perfectly happy all along. And by trying so hard to smile and look 'right', I end up not actually being 'in the moment' with what I'm doing. And often look stupid anyway. I know I have strong feelings about it, but I just hated that constant command as a child to 'smile'. or 'you could look so much nicer if you smiled'. or 'don't be so grumpy'. or people making fun of your look to 'tease' you. or 'sourpuss' nicknames. Grrrrrr. So yes, maybe projecting a bit. But still. Maybe she was feeling perfectly happy as she was. or maybe not. But it doesn't mean her face necessarily reflects it. It's not the sort of thing I'd have enjoyed much either, but definitely not if I were feeling constant pressure to look the way someone expected me to.

and so much depends on the exact second a photo is taken. There were several camera shots of prince George a few minutes ago where his nose was all scrunched up and you might have said he looked bored or spoilt or disgusted with it all, and then seconds later, broad grins and laughing as he talks to his cousins. You really really can't judge from how someone looks - so many other variables!
