Sounds good to me, although make mine a Wineplease!

Buzzer3555 · 20/05/2022 19:47

It depends. Do you feel sad? It sounds like heaven to me

Antarcticant · 20/05/2022 19:47

... also far from fine where I am - raining cats and dogs!🌧

emmathedilemma · 20/05/2022 19:47

Pizza and wine in PJs here!
living the dream 😁

BlewsClews · 20/05/2022 19:48

Well I would usually agree re the wine but unfortunately I had none in the house! Been feeling poorly all day so haven't been out but miraculously perked up when the kids went to bed so gin will have to do!

And no, not feeling sad. Feeling very relaxed actually Grin

BlewsClews · 20/05/2022 19:49

Oh yes. Pjs are also definitely included. Enjoy!

Not sad at all. Sounds lovely, whatever night it is!

Do you feel like you should be socialising?

Friday nights are my favourite night of the week. Work has finished and it's 3 days until Monday.

I try never to go out on a Friday. I love staying in with a wine and telly.

BlewsClews · 20/05/2022 19:53

Oh no - it's the ONLY night in the whole week I get to myself but always wonder if it's a bit sad to be sat having a wine or gin on my own?

I actually love love love being on my own and having nobody bothering me Blush

JennyMule · 20/05/2022 19:57

Bliss!

thehistorymum · 20/05/2022 19:58

Sounds heavenly! 🧀

boudicca79 · 20/05/2022 20:00

You are not u at all. I couldn't have the gin though it makes me depressed the next day like no other alcohol.

Sounds like a nice chilled night

nokitchen · 20/05/2022 20:01

What cheeses? I'll live vicariously through you (high cholesterol)

Purplecatshopaholic · 20/05/2022 20:05

Sounds like an awesome evening to me! Enjoy

BlewsClews · 20/05/2022 20:05

There's no pleasing some people... I'm all cheesed out and wish I had chocolate haha!

I have Gouda, Brie, goats cheese, cracked pepper crackers and some grapes. It's actually a pretty poor cheese board when you put it down 😂

FabFitFifties · 20/05/2022 20:12

Sounds great, except I'll have either a desert wine or a JD/SC/any type of whisky and coke with ice. TV is rubbish on Fridays, but an uninterrupted couple of hours with a good book, is my idea of heaven.

BlewsClews · 20/05/2022 20:14

Oh whisky would be bottom of my list!

I have some music on the TV but you've inspired me. I might dig the kindle out

I’m having a few slivers of cheese with a glass of red whilst my dinner is in oven

Manekinek0 · 20/05/2022 20:28

I read your post expecting to feel bad for you but ended up incredibly jealous!

I've had to get a bath just for 30mins peace.

BlewsClews · 20/05/2022 20:29

Oh but a bath is always absolutely bliss!!

Whatlovelyweather · 20/05/2022 20:36

Sounds bloody lovely . Though I’d rather have wine with the cheese and the g&t separately. I bet you’re getting to choose what you want to watch on TV and everything!

Unanananana · 20/05/2022 20:39

So jealous. My 13 year old DD has two friends over for a sleepover. Lovely girls my but my god, they do not stop talking. I have no booze in the house but I do have chocolate.

Enjoy your gin and peace.

Actually I love alone time. Especially If I don't get it all week long. My grown DD lives with me and when she's gone out with her friends, I LOVE having the house to myself. I'll find a show to binge and get some good food and revel in my aloneness since I rarely get any these days since she's been back home and doesn't have a busy social life. 😊

Just cooked myself a nice dinner after a pretty horrible day - had to do verbal reasoning for a zero hours job interview at which just wanted to be swallowed up, a CEO’s PA invited me to apply for very same position on yet another job site unaware it’s the one they tried 2 weeks ago on another job board and then didn’t get back to applicants and then at 3.45pm learnt a job in Braintree at 23k salary was to good to be true. Of course they had taken someone else on for what was a ‘multiple hire’ when the very day after interview there is evidence they reposted the job so enjoyed doing a glass door interview review before they claim brits won’t work or interview - should bring it to every single job site.

CakeShake · 20/05/2022 21:43

I'm jealous!!
