i don’t plan to eat the cat or share my cheese with the cat but he’s staying near just in case

I’ve been sitting downstairs alone for the last few hours and it’s been bliss. I have Prosecco, nuts, cheese and chocolate. Dc watched a movie together upstairs and then went to sleep. Dh is out at his hobby until the early hours so I’m enjoying eating, drinking and watching Netflix. I had a very hectic week at work, as well as ferrying kids around to their various clubs, so I’m enjoy relaxing on the sofa and doing nothing. I love having some peace and quiet and time to just think. It’ll be all go again first thing tomorrow so I’m going to make the most of my alone time tonight.

Cheese, celery, grapes, wine, Gogglebox (my guilty tv watch) is Fri night here!

YABU - cheese board and gin sounds like a very odd combination. Either one in isolation, now you're talking.
