I normally cut my grass once a month

OP posts:
PinkSyCo · 27/04/2022 21:13

Every two weeks.

SnowRoses · 27/04/2022 21:14

Gardener comes every 2 weeks
He only cane back this month though

Traumdeuter · 27/04/2022 21:15

After about three consecutive weeks of saying “chuffing hell, that grass has grown back fast” to each other every day before one of us caves in and does it

tkwal · 27/04/2022 21:15

Every two weeks, weather permitting

SnowRoses · 27/04/2022 21:15

2 weekly
Gardner drives a sit on motorised one
And trims 4/6 weekly depending on the weather etc

purplepaintedpineapple · 27/04/2022 21:15

Now husband is retired, every week, and we have three sizeable lawns but he likes doing it 🤷‍♀️😂

Choopi · 27/04/2022 21:16

Usually it's about threeish days after I start thinking 'Bloody hell that grass needs cutting again'. Probably every couple of weeks.

Chasingsquirrels · 27/04/2022 21:17

It needs it every week (or more) at the moment. It doesn't necessarily get it that often but try to keep on top of it because of the dogs.

Hadn't cut it myself for years, H1 did it, then my dad after H1 left, then DH2, then I delegated to DS1, then DP took it over. DP currently in an air-cast boot due to an achilles tendon injury and I've done it the last 3 weeks.

tuliplover · 27/04/2022 21:17

Once a week now or it looks out of control and much harder to cut (small London garden). I cut it Monday and today noticed you can't see the lines any more (I don't care about lines but it was an indication of how it's grown in two days)!

JamMakingWannaBe · 27/04/2022 21:20

Our robomower does it twice a week at the moment.

theshavenraven · 27/04/2022 21:20

Every two weeks at this time of year

VioletHills · 27/04/2022 21:21

Once a week.

CuriousCatfish · 27/04/2022 21:22

When I can be bothered, so probably once a month.

FuzzyPuffling · 27/04/2022 21:24

Roughly once a week, but it depends so much on how warm it's been, and how much rain there's been. I do it when it needs doing, not on a schedule.

Winter2019 · 27/04/2022 21:24

Every 2 weeks

Joystir59 · 27/04/2022 21:26

Every two weeks

FormerlySpeckledyHen · 27/04/2022 21:26

Twice a week. But we do have a garden related business and practice what we preach to our customers.

HerRoyalNotness · 27/04/2022 21:33

Weekly in growing season. Fortnightly I. Autumn/spring and about 6 weekly in winter

tiredanddangerous · 27/04/2022 21:34

A good 2 weeks after I notice it really needs a cut. I hate doing it.

AgathaX · 27/04/2022 21:36

Weekly at least.

Hugasauras · 27/04/2022 21:37

Ours has to be traditionally cut at least weekly in height of summer. It grows crazy fast. Even weekly it's getting too long by the end of the week. But now we have a robot mower so he comes out every day and cuts if it needs done and takes himself home when it's done!

Hesma · 27/04/2022 21:38

I cut it every other weekend

derekthe1adyhamster · 27/04/2022 21:39

I'm not! And I have a huge amount of wild flowers weeds which the bees are loving.
I'm embracing the meadow 😁

yellowsuninthesky · 27/04/2022 21:41

As little as possible. It's better for the environment to do it less, and causes less noise pollution too. In our area there is a No Mow May happening.

Hallyup89 · 27/04/2022 21:41

Whenever my husband does it.
