A guy she was interested in a few years ago but played her around [younger guy, immature] is getting married in June. He's marrying someone 28, he's 34.

She looked the fiancee up on IG and downloaded and posted a picture of her on her hen weekend on her own Facebook with "(guy's name) is getting married soon, Barn wedding, Dominican Republic honeymoon, here's his girlfriend on her hen weekend, but I am sure she will look lovely on the day. Meewoo"

Yes the colleague is more attractive than the bride to be looking at the pictures. She's said the guy was a buffoon and obsessed with computer games, they weren't suited.

Yes she's being incredibly nasty. She may be (subject to opinion) nicer looking on the outside, but I bet the girlfriend is 1000 times nicer than her personality wise.

I can see how you can say this based on what I saw today but at the time I would not have agreed. He treated her like an option and really mucked her about. None of us at work have seen a horrible side to her before this, normal colleague if a bit emotional. It's strange behaviour and out of character. She's not seen him for years either and hasn't talked about him much. Haven't spoken to her about it. Seems out of leftfield.

Oh wow, that is a really horrible and incredibly odd thing to do, as it only reflects badly on her not the fiancé. I know a women who does stuff like this, I removed her from socials as, like other pp have said, I really did not want to be associated with her.
Also, how sad and empty her life must be for her to have the idea and time to do this.

He may have messed her about, but the new fiancee has done nothing to your colleague. To pull apart a stranger for her looks reeks of jealousy and insecurity.

Her personality may have been the reason he messed her about if this is what she is like outside of work.

When we were working from home she took the piss because he went on the local radio talking about sugar addiction and going on a diet in lockdown. It was in the local paper too.

Seems she's resentful about the ex but chose to be unpleasant about his fiancee. It might seem out of character but I'd say it's probably revealing more of her true nature than she usually let's you see. It reveals that she's quite insecure. If her ex was that bad she'd feel sorry for the fiancee and glad she'd dodged a bullet herself.
