To let this lonely towel get darked on?

It's been sunny but vvv windy here today and the washing dried - all good - apart from this bastard towel that decided to wrap itself around the twirly and DiD NOT DRY.
So what I want to know should I bring it in and pop it on a cold radiator or leave the bugger to be darked on and have spider willies rubbed on it and probably need to be rewashed

Spider Willies for the win.
Teach that towel a lesson. It might dry better in future.

The new improvements to MN won't let me upload a pic of my lonely towel 😕

Let it get darked on. Bastard towel deserves it!

FloraPostePosts · 22/04/2022 20:37

Let it get darked on and it might turn into the terrycloth equivalent of The Dark Knight. The evil version of your best towel.

SheAndHerAreWomen · 22/04/2022 20:39

Yes what a selfish bastard towel it is. The wind is also extremely selfish, as is the stupid twatty whirly-gig that obviously got carried away. Twat.

Let all the spiders rub their willies all over it and the towel will have to learn the hard way Grin

ThackeryBinks · 22/04/2022 22:00

That'll learn it! Leave it for the darkening and the willies of spiders!

x2boys · 22/04/2022 22:11

Meh I left a pair of jogging pants on the line for about a week, they smelt lovely and fresh .

RewildingAmbridge · 22/04/2022 22:14

Leave it out, our washing line is about 80ft and I've done a load of DSs washing and a set of his bedding and towels, all put out this evening, with the intention of being darked on, it will be both sunny and windy here from sunrise until about ten thirty tomorrow morning, it'll all be dry by then.
I do it all the time, am I going to be barred from MN now?

CurlyBurley · 22/04/2022 22:16

Poor towel. I feel sorry for it.

unknownorigins · 22/04/2022 22:16

But..... will you rewash it or use it with the spider willy remnants on it 🤔

nocoolnamesleft · 22/04/2022 22:18

Heartless. You're completely heartless. That poor innocent abandoned towel.

Floydthebarber · 22/04/2022 22:18

Leave it out! Let it get the early morning sun, bring it in about 10am ish and enjoy fresh, fresh, scratchy towel joy.

Redshoeblueshoe · 22/04/2022 22:25

The towel is not innocent.
it's a bastard. Leave it to get darked on, and to get rubbed by the spider willies.

AND if you feel like it, leave it out till Monday.
That'll learn it

SparkleSpangle · 22/04/2022 22:26

Right now I'd say leave the fucker to the dark. But then at around 2.30am I'd wake up having personified the little shit and feel bad, then drag myself out of bed, save the poor little towel and hang it over a radiator.

Justkeeppedaling · 22/04/2022 22:28

I've left a whole set of bed linen out tonight. Duvet cover, sheets and pillow cases.
Should I burn them in the morning?

BlackeyedSusan · 22/04/2022 22:30

FFS Spangle wouldn't that bring in all the spiders and their willies with it?

Spermysextowel · 22/04/2022 22:30

Bring the poor lonely towel in.

rainyskylight · 22/04/2022 22:32

I also feel sorry for the poor lonely towel.

MiGatoEsBonito · 22/04/2022 22:34

Wait, what is all this about spider willies?? 😂

Apatosaurus20 · 22/04/2022 22:38

LTB!

Apatosaurus20 · 22/04/2022 22:39

😂 sorry couldn’t resist.

My poor washing, all these years I’ve been exposing it to spider willies 😱

SparkleSpangle · 22/04/2022 22:40

@BlackeyedSusan bloody hell now I'm conflicted. Can I hang it in the Wendy house instead? Loads of spider willies dragging around in there already.

TargusEasting · 22/04/2022 22:55

You said it was lonely. Your words. Do the right thing. Bring it in and put it through the wash again, at least 30 degrees to warm it up. Remove it from the spinner, tie a knot in the corner and take it to bed with you. It will be fine in the morning.

LoveSpringDaffs · 22/04/2022 23:01

Aww, poor little towel baby, bring it in and put it over an airer! Don't leave it out by himself!!
