Shamelessly posting here for traffic and as no idea where else to put this.
We have a big standard (10 year old) under counter electric oven. In light of the current, obscene, electricity charges I'm doing everything I can to save money.
One bad thing I still do is use the oven for cooking not very much. Oven chips, or just a garlic baguette. Sometimes we do need the full oven but I'm fairly sure that when just doing the kids tea I could use a countertop thing like an air fryer. I can't find any direct comparisons in terms of energy used ... does anybody know? It must save a fair bit?
