Just watched a dog wee like this out of my window....and right onto the street outside my door .... how lovely.

Is this actually a thing? Does anyone else's dog do this?

That's an impatient dog! Mine does sometimes get bored mid-wee and decides to press on even though she's still going, but not to that extent.

Yes they do, or at least mine does. My daughter dogsat for me yesterday and apparently as soon as DDog arrived at her house he walked the length of the garden, peeing all the way from side to side like someone waving a hosepipe around!

Sorry to disappoint you OP, but unless your family take shoes off every time they enter the house, they’ll still be waking wee across the house, plus revolting mens’ wee and phlegm etc. This is why I’ve become a shoes off home. Grim!

@brionotbiro glad it's not just me that saw "gin". When our old dog started doing this it was a sign of him getting near the end of his days, losing sensation. But really? It's a bit of wee , what else is on the pavement, sluice it with a bucket of water if you're that worried

I've got bad news for you about the state of the ground in the outside world. If you want clean, you're looking in the wrong place.

If you're fussed then take your shoes off at the door, no need to give it any headspace.
