I’m in bed, running a high temp and feeling pretty bloody sick. And I’m trying to get my bloody tv working.

Have you got someone with you OP? What you've written doesn't make a whole lot of sense and I'd be worried that your fever is making you less lucid.

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 14:39

Sorry Didn’t send pic

Can someone please send explain what this means?

princessbabychampagnechlamydia · 08/04/2022 14:41

What?

LoudingVoice · 08/04/2022 14:42

I can’t see from that pic what the issue is? Is it the volume?

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 14:42

No I don’t have anyone with me. I just want to get my tv working. I don’t think I’m well tbh

Sugarplumfairy65 · 08/04/2022 14:42

That's the volume button

FindingMeno · 08/04/2022 14:42

Perhaps ring a rl person.
Hope you're ok.

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 14:43

No it’s not the volume, it’s this weird notification in the top right

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 14:45

Can someone please send explain what this means?

That definitely looks like your volume. Is it frozen on the screen?
Have you tried switching it off for a minute?
Do you have someone in real life you can call?

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 08/04/2022 14:49

It's the volume- the little pic tells you it is.

NewYearCalavicci · 08/04/2022 14:50

All I can see is the sound bar which appears to be set on 30 which on my old TV would of been deafing but all tvs are different

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 14:51

Sorry for the misspelling in my title.

OP posts:
Neilsfavouritechilli · 08/04/2022 14:52

Is it on mute?

Cas112 · 08/04/2022 14:52

That's definitely the volume bar telling you what number your volume is on ha-ha. Hence the little speaker symbol

SoManyTshirts · 08/04/2022 14:53

I’d press OK and see if that gets rid of it (if you are happy with that volume)

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 14:53

It’s not the sound bar. And it shows as being muted?

OP posts:
Mumdiva99 · 08/04/2022 14:54

That's definitely the volume.

Can you hear the TV? If not have the kids left headphones plugged in? Are you casting your phone to the TV?

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 14:55

No it’s not on mute and it’s not the sound bar!

SamphirethePogoingStickerist · 08/04/2022 14:55

Looks like the physical TV volume is turned right down and the remote sound can only go up to that low preset volume.

Is there anything on the side of the TV itself, or another volume setting in Controls/Settings?

SamphirethePogoingStickerist · 08/04/2022 14:56

Or are you watching via Freeviw/another box and the telly volume remote is set to low volume?

bigbluebus · 08/04/2022 14:56

Have you tried switching it off at the wall and then switching it back on again? Usually works here when tv is doing strange things!

ReadyToMoveIt · 08/04/2022 15:00

Do you have any sound on your TV currently?

Westpoint · 08/04/2022 15:00

And I can’t understand why it’s been saying 30 for the last 2 bloody hours.
