(Lighthearted) About really loved up couple at comedy show last night?

Went to see Ed Byrne last night. Couple sitting next to me - woman was next to me. Man had his hand on her knee and lower thigh (she was wearing a shortish dress) the whole time. I could see this hand constantly stroking and caressing her leg out of the corner of my eye even when looking straight at the stage. They were snuggled up really close the whole time. Why do people go to shows and think they can behave like they do on their sofa at home?

Blimey, you sound like my great-grandmother.

Youdoyoutoday · 27/03/2022 12:28

Whats wrong with that? His hand wasn't up her skirt Confused

Dogscanteatonions · 27/03/2022 12:28

Unless he was actually fingerblasting her yabu and prudish..🤣

RiverRats · 27/03/2022 12:29

What’s wrong with that?

Youdoyoutoday · 27/03/2022 12:29

Fingerblasting??? 🤣🤣

Jealous or prim?

VyeBrator · 27/03/2022 12:30

So the OP paid about £30 to sit and stare at a woman's leg all night? 🤣

Prinnny · 27/03/2022 12:32

The show must not have been very good if you were more interested watching the couple next to you all night! Maybe you’re the one who should have stayed home Grin

grapewines · 27/03/2022 12:32

Why were you focusing on them and not on the show? Nothing wrong with what they did.

Shoxfordian · 27/03/2022 12:32

What’s wrong with that op?

Momicrone · 27/03/2022 12:33

Oh the days when you couldn't keep your hands off each other!

MrsSkylerWhite · 27/03/2022 12:34

Oh my. I hope you had taken your smelling salts Grin

MovinOnUp · 27/03/2022 12:34

Not seeing a problem here.

SalsaLove · 27/03/2022 12:39

I know what you mean OP. It’s being subjected to the intimate moments of strangers in that context. Not prudish at all.

GladAllOver · 27/03/2022 13:33

Did she look like she was objecting to it? If she was happy then it's none of your business.

Toottooot · 27/03/2022 13:43

Maybe they saw you watching them instead of the show and thought they’d give you something to watch. At least she didn’t reach into his trousers and wank him off 🙄

I couldn’t help seeing them they were in my line of sight.

Do you think they would have done it if they were sitting in the front row?

Comedycook · 27/03/2022 13:56

I'm on your side op. I am genuinely not prudish but really ott PDAs make me cringe

HelenWick · 27/03/2022 13:59

I get it OP, makes me cringe. I went to a spa a few weeks back and a woman was straddling a man in the hot tub and bouncing up and down. Grim. Reminds me of animals marking their territory.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 27/03/2022 14:06

You are of course assuming that the 'sofa at home' didn't have a wife and children sitting on it whilst he was at the show.

VladmirsPoutine · 27/03/2022 14:13

I think I get what you mean. I cringe when I see things like this. No malice intended of course!

I was in a ski resort hot tub once and a couple got in and actually had sex next to me. I leapt out of there. It was unreal. So it could have been worse… Grin

Poor Ed though, unable to compete with some strokey fingers.

Tothemoonandbackx · 27/03/2022 15:51

Unless your eyes are like a chameleon, how the hell were they directly in your sight, you even said yourself, out of the corner of my eye
