Give me things to do

Suspected rupture of the medial collateral ligament in my knee and am currently in a straight leg splint and crutches. It is making life very difficult to get around so am mostly sat on the sofa. It’s day 1 and I’m bored out of my mind already. Give me ideas of things to do?

No kids and an amazing husband who does everything I could need him to do while I do nothing!

Have them bring you drawers to organize.

Get some adult colouring books.

Do you or DH have a games console? Serious suggestion to give it a go if you do!

That's what I'd going to say too. My mum taught me to knit when I broken my leg as a kid. I still love it and got very adventurous during lockdown - there's so many good videos on YouTube.

I think I might get told off if I go online shopping Grin we’ve just majorly decluttered! Holiday plans are a good one though!

Jigsaw puzzles
Watch the stuff on Netflix which you've been to watch but have never got round to
Same goes for reading books you've never found the time to read
Have a mini pamper with face mask, etc

BBC Iplayer has ALL their scandi/french/foreign crime drama sets on there now. You could watch The Bridge and The Killing and Spiral and Montalbano start to finish. Start with series 1 of The Killing, that was amazing.

Wordle Unlimited.

SickAndTiredAgain · 12/03/2022 18:41

Knitting and rewatching greys anatomy would be my go to activity. And you’ve already got half of that covered, so I’d recommend learning to knit.

I got into felting when I was stuck indoors with Covid, very easy to pick up and a good stress reliever! If you're a film person, see if you can make your way through the ones that are up for Oscars (e.g all the Best Picture noms?)

tellmetologoffIamaMNaddict · 12/03/2022 19:13

Download the Catan Universe and play it. (It's an adaptation of a board game so you could get that too)
