I’ve got a raging email drafted about their home delivery service 😡😡

WorraLiberty · 07/03/2022 23:50

I just typed 'Sainsbury's Customer Services' into Google and a number and email came straight up Confused

Minkymandy · 07/03/2022 23:50

They're very responsive on Facebook messenger but I think only between 8am and 8pm.

Groovytiger · 07/03/2022 23:52

Twitter DM is always a good way of getting through to them

UrghFuming7 · 07/03/2022 23:54

@WorraLiberty
I spoke to them on the phone 3 times already and let me guess the email that came up is [email protected]?! I emailed them and I got a reply within 5 minutes that this mailbox is no longer in use…
Did you really think that I didn’t Google before starting a thread ConfusedConfusedlove the sarcastic emoji…

Well yes, given you didn't mention any of that in your OP and that none of us are mind readers.

HeddaGarbled · 07/03/2022 23:59

Don’t send it. Sleep on it. Then send a less ranty, more reasoned, one tomorrow.

Think about what you want to achieve? Compensation? To suggest improvements in their procedures?

Making yourself feel better at the expense of a (probably poorly paid) member of the customer service staff is not a reasonable motivation.

UrghFuming7 · 08/03/2022 00:14

Thanks @Minkymandyand @Groovytiger, I’ve contacted them on Twitter l didn’t think about social media 🙄😳

@HeddaGarbled I’m not trying to make myself better but they have been flat out lying and as much as I appreciate that they probably don’t earn an awful lot (may I say neither do I) but that’s no excuse for not doing your job properly or - and I literally mean - flat out lying on the phone/ door bell voice conversation. I’m ranting at Sainsbury’s as a whole company not picking on any of their employers btw.

@WorraLiberty again I just asked if anyone knows… ( I am assuming that there are others who had to contact Sainsburys and realised that the email they Googled didn’t work …) I didn’t ask anyone to Google it for me. I’m not sure why folks open threads, read it , have no answer for it or advise… and they just comment something like ‘have you googled it’? And then go about mind reading and crystal balls and whatnot… sometimes you can open a thread and if there is nothing constructive to add you know you can move on… 😂

YouCantTourniquetTheTaint · 08/03/2022 00:24

You can ask them to contact you via email on the above form, if customer services can't fix your complaint, you can go to the equivalent of an ombudsman, and let them look at it. But you must go through their complaints process first, and allow them to try and fix the issue.

chelle0 · 08/03/2022 00:29

You sound a delight Hmm

GnusSitOnCanoes · 08/03/2022 04:36

I emailed the CEO. The customer service team picked it up from there and resolved it quickly.

Not sure if this is misplaced Sainsbury’s rage, but you’re being needlessly twattish to @WorraLiberty

Mentioning that might have been helpful? 🙄

BuanoKubiamVej · 08/03/2022 05:14

I've contacted them a few times via Facebook messenger. You don't put the wgo

BuanoKubiamVej · 08/03/2022 05:23

Posting error. Keyboard shifts and I end up either pressing "post" too soon or navigating to a different page.

You don't put the whole story in the initial Facebook messenger post. The first few messages are dealt with by a robot that collects basic info but once you have got through that you can paste in your message. I have had instant refunds and compensation for inconvenience all completed satisfactorily

HollyBollyBooBoo · 08/03/2022 05:39

Hopefully you've calmed down a bit before you've sent it and can have a balanced conversation with the person in customer services.

There are some really useful methods out there for dealing with rage if that's truly the emotion you were feeling.

Soubriquet · 08/03/2022 06:13

The best way I got through to them was via fb messenger

This.

Is Sainsbury's really what you're so angry about? 🤔

Mumofsend · 08/03/2022 06:29

Twitter. You might want to check YANBU re the complaint first though with this level of rage Wink

CowsAreNotGreen · 08/03/2022 06:45

This. I too assumed you wanted a phone number or the email address PP provided.

I hope your email isn't too ragey. You seem like an angry person so maybe have a glass of water and breathe and then check through your email before sending.

I find their twitter helpful.

Sparklingbrook · 08/03/2022 06:59

What did Sainsburys Delivery do to you? 😮

springbreak22 · 08/03/2022 07:08

Ahhh your one of those types Smile

WaterTheBasil · 08/03/2022 07:10

Yes. I definitely thought that.

kookievee · 08/03/2022 07:13

Last time I needed to I used Facebook and got a response that day. Worth a shot.

Motnight · 08/03/2022 07:17

Good luck Op. I gave up with Sainsburys home delivery years ago due to their appalling customer services. I emailed them saying how fed up I was with the constant issues and no one taking responsibility and they emailed back saying that I needed to email someone else 😂

Hadjab · 08/03/2022 07:31

@UrghFuming7 you might want to be slightly less angry with posters on here, given that none of us are directly responsible for whatever it is that Sainsbury’s did to you.
