I'm a house cleaner.

Today's household left me shit in the bath to clean.

Now I know with young kids, accidents can happen, but it's really not OK to leave for someone else to clean up after.

How 2 adults could not have noticed is beyond me, the smell was enough.

I'm pissed off, Aibu to be???

I work hard, very hard, physically every day for every household. What I expect back is payment and respect. That's it.

Sorry but you need to learn more self respect t!! It's not acceptable for people who employ you to literally expect you to clear up their shit!!

I get hotels as they don't know you, but that's not the case here!

I make sure the house is tidy and things are out away before ours comes - gives them more space to work and saves them time. They are ace.

The kids have pooped in the bath before annoyingly the day before cleaners have come. I’ve cleaned it up and have warned them that this happened. Just in case.

Don’t let them empty the nappy bin either. They should absolutely not have to deal with my kids shit.

Having said all that, if you cleaned in a hotel presumably you couldn't have just left it.

IIRC if a hotel cleaner encounters something like that they get specialist cleaners in with something akin to hazmat suits.

It is not ok to leave your house in a disgusting tip for a cleaner, they should be cleaning normal amounts of dirt, not the accumulated detrius of lazy arses who don't clear up juice spills etc
