So Molly Maes card declined...

Remember the girl who told us all that we were poor because of our poor time management skills, and that we all have the same hours in the day as Beyonce?

Well she is trying to garner favour with us pool folk by purposely going to McDonald's and having her card declined. It was so embarrassing, tee hee, because her card declined despite gaming millions in the bank.

Does she really think people will not see through this? She is trying to play poor too seem like she isn't as put if touch as she really is. After all, millionaires have money problems too...
poor girl shall we start a crowd fund?

Did you watch the video? She'd got a new card on her Apple Pay that McDonald's doesn't accept and didn't have the physical card with her, so ended up using cash...

“Look at how down to earth and working class I am slating Molly Mae!”. Most people genuinely struggling to pay the bills and feed their kids don’t give Molly Mae much thought, I don’t think.

I wish people would just leave her be and stop obsessing. I think she’s clueless and naive but she’s an influencer, not a politician. Just leave her to it ffs. She’s hardly a high-up in the Labour Party or an MP is she? Why do people care so much about what she thinks/says? Get a grip.

I work in retail. It seems to be happening a lot since the increase to £100 contactless. More people are having to do the old chip and pin. Security I guess.

Never watched Love Island but she’s a human being with a bank account who happens to be famous. Don’t get what the big deal is.

One more thing I’ll say.

She’s literally just a random girl from Hertfordshire who has lots of followers on social media. That’s it.

The people losing her shit over what she says as if she’s some kind of high-up politician are hilarious.

If you want to be a working-class advocate then get involved with contacting your local MP about issues in your area and donate to a food bank, instead of frothing over Molly Mae’s Instagram account.

I actually didn't know who she was until her last thing..'I'm rich and you can be too as long as you have a daddy to pay for everything and a pretty white face and petite body'

I am not invested in the celeb but I am invested in the 'poor people are poor because they are lazy and worth less' narrative.

Now she is pretending to have her card declined. I've had my card declined. I've had to put a basket worth of food back whilst in the self check out line and I had to ask the assistant where can I put all this. She laughed at first thinking I was joking and then her face changed to pity and it was fucking shameful.
And she's pouncing about faking about it. its so forced. it makes me really angry. I probably over invested. Seems ill timed considering prices for everything is going up.

I've had a few occasions where the card on my phone wouldn't tap...needed to use the card itself.
Because it happens so rarely you would kind of forget about using cards.
I can't see this is news and the glee in bringing someone down is not on.

I get asked for my pin about once a week. The checkout operator in Waitrose says they are asking for chip and pin more often since the payment went up to £100
