To think removable pads in bras are the work of the devil?

Just spent a sweaty 15 minutes wrestling the sodding pads back into place in my sports bra after washing. They are a horrible foamy texture which actually gives me goosebumps when my nails brush against it as I scrabble to get them back into place. You have to manipulate them through a tiny little hole in the side of the bra. They always want to fold over on themselves. They never seem to go back properly, but if you remove them it’s nipple-tastic.

Why don’t they just sew the buggers in?

See also swimsuits / bikinis etc.
Honestly I do not understand why they make them like this! Why would you ever want to remove them and wrestle them back?

@maffhew

not sure why nipples are offensive now?

Who said they're offensive?

Why does it matter if they show through a bra and top? Posters have said they need padding to hide nipples and it does seem to be the norm now.

I hate padded bras and swimming costumes so always take these things out and throw away if there are no other options when buying, so from my point of view they're a good thing (better than sewn in) but I could understand it being annoying if you wanted to keep them in.

Well I don't particularly want my son, dad or any random perve in the street to see my nipples so I wear padding to keep them covered.

Call me old fashioned but I would rather have some decorum.

Why is it a problem? You don't mind any of those people seeing your breasts so why do the nipples on those breasts have to be concealed?

Or do you wear a cape to conceal the existence and outline of your breasts?

Yes yes yes! I like them for comfort but if they're included why are they not bloody well sewn in?!

Porthia · 05/02/2022 22:26

For me I find it uncomfortable when the bra is so thin I can feel the fabric of the sports top through it. I like the feel of the pads in place.

I just don’t want to have to touch the fecking things.

YES. Pisses me off so much when they fold inside the cup.
