To think 90’s disaster movies are simultaneously terrible and amazing

Just watched Dante’s Peak and now moved on to Daylight. So cheesy terrible effects but it’s nostalgia central.

I like Twister and Volcano. I have to be in the mood to watch certain films, but I could always watch either of these when they come on.

Also Day After and Deep Impact!

Same I remember seeing it at cinema on day it was released when on holiday in florida,they had loads of props at universal studios too and i was giddy Harry stamper is a god in my house I still cry like a loon at least 5 times a watch

I love a good disaster film. Watched Contagion at least 3 times during lockdown.

Oh, yeas, outbreak was awesome too. I'm awfully glad Hancock watched outbreak instead and wasn't taking notes from Donald Sutherland.

How very dare you. Con Air was the first movie I saw the love of my life, John Cusack, in. Its a masterpiece

Con air is great. I also love the core and atomic train

The rubbish sequel to Independance Day is one of the biggest cinema disappointments of my life! I was soooooo excited for it and it was crap!!!

I love all of the above but think Deep Impact is great too!! Seemed far fetched at the time but I can somehow see a lottery for places in a bunker actually happening now 😬
