I actually think that some of the recurring minor characters actually made Friends. Janice. Gunther. Frank Jr Jr.

Ross is the worst. Which is a shame as actually some of the funniest scenes and episodes centre around him and the comedy from him is brilliant, but he is clearly a bad father, a jealous boyfriend and a miserable sod.

I'd go further and say Janice is my favourite sitcom character of all time. The timing of when she'd pop back up was always immaculate.

I love Janice - when we stayed in Brooklyn many years ago we were at a bar next to a complete Janice - it was awesome

I liked all their parents when they popped up.

I love Janice! Also love any episodes featuring their parents. All the parents. Recently saw the one where they throw a surprise party for Rachel without realising her parents have separated. They have the party across the two apartments to keep them away from each other. David Schwimmer is so good in this episode. “I was just moistening the tip” as he hands Rachel’s dad his cigarette. 😂

She was self made too. She was awesome.

Janice is amazing. But my favourite episode is the one with Brad Pitt and the I hate Rachel Greene club.

She was beautiful, friendly, and very kind. She was very good at buying gifts and they always seemed very thoughtful. Don’t understand why the others sneered at her. She was great.

I actually didn't like the main characters in Friends (except maybe Phoebe) they were really selfish. Joey was also treated a bit like a pet.

Janice was kind, the way they treated her and Gunther was not nice.

fully agree. I loved her big hair and big style too.

I think Ross is the funniest character. He has the best comedic moments and David Schwimmer was the best actor on the show. Whatever your feelings of the personality of Ross, he was really the main character.

The main group of "Friends" are awful people for the most part, vain, insecure, mean etc.

Janice was awesome.

I like her. she’s a nice person. I always thought it was unfair she was so vilified.

Janice was fabulous. Her comic timing was impeccable.

I love the scene in the hospital maternity ward where she's talking to Rachel about being a single mum

I also love the bit in the hospital just before that when Chandler sees Janice is pregnant, looks horrified and she says “it’s yours!” Then cackles “we haven’t slept together in years, look how nervous he gets”. 😂

Janice is great! She was too good for Chandler, the way he treated her (as just someone to shag coz he felt insecure that nobody he considered sexy wanted him) was awful.

Jack and Judy Gellar were brilliant too. As were Chandler's parents.
