I love Ross. Especially when he goes a bit nuts in season 6.
‘He gave me a pill…so I took it!’

Oh and it's such a shame Janice didn't get the house in the burbs next door to Chandler and Monica at the end. That would have been hilarious and served them right too.

Janice is amazing. But my favourite episode is the one with Brad Pitt and the I hate Rachel Greene club.

I absolutely love that episode but Brad Pitt is so wooden in it, definitely not a comedy actor

The character Alec Baldwin played was amazing

@ShirleyPhallus I completely agree, I thought at the time that he was terrible in it. It's the first time I ever really took any notice of how hard it is to be a comic actor.
Janice was ace, YANBU, OP.

I liked Phoebe's brother and his older wife.

The incidental characterse are so good. I love that Joey's mum, Gloria Tribbiani, well the same actress anyway, popped up in the SATC reboot playing another Gloria!
Estelle deserves a mention too. 'Whoopsie', 'do they have representation '?

I much preferred David to Mike for Phoebe but I like Paul Rudd as an actor.

Phoebe's Gran was good- going through the obits, pretending Einstein was her DH etc.

Chloe (the copy girl) was also so much more fun than the 'friends'.

No one ever bothered that she was ONS'd and never called.

I wasn't fond of Ross's character, but the leather pants episode makes me laugh every time I think about it. When he makes his paste pants and slaps himself in the face trying to pull them up 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I love Bruce Willis' character, and Mike. Rachel's sisters were good too. I think Janice is a great character but would be annoying IRL which is why she never really fitted in to the group. But she was very confident in her own skin so that didn't matter

I also love the Brad Pitt episode and think he's pretty good at comedy. But then I laughed at Last Christmas 😂

I love Janice, Richard and Mike but, Phoebe should have married David.

Janice was fabulous but my personal favourite was Mr Heckles 😅 Worst for me was Emily.

Ross was the best character, closely followed by Monica. “Hurricane Gloria didn’t break the porch swing. Monica did!!” 😅😅😅

Janice was great.

Ross was the best main Friend. I actually liked him less as it went on (I'm fine!" neurotic geek crap) but he had the best one-liners and slapstick.

Erika, Joey's nutty fan

Great show!

Ross's timing and facial expressions were fantastic. Chandler also very funny. Didn't like Bruce Willis' phase at all one to forget for me. Rhonda in the museum, hilarious.

Janice is a great comic creation. She works because Maggie Wheeler makes her likeable even though she’s annoying. It’s telling that, apart from the Geller parents, she’s the only supporting character to appear in every season.

Interestingly, when Maggie Wheeler is in Everybody Loves Raymond (and married to Kenny Daly from Frasier; like two minor royal houses trying to boost their power by uniting), a lot of the men seem to find her character attractive. It shows you how much of the performance is what makes it believable that people think Chandler can do better.
