Inspired by the excellent thread ’Just tell them to go fuck themselves’ - has anyone ever told YOU to go fuck yourself?

(and if so did you actually deserve it or not?)

They haven't.

But that maybe more luck than deserved WinkGrin

alphabetsoup1980 · 21/12/2021 21:44

Yes! By my sister , and yes I did deserve it.... Wink

WeeHaggisFace · 21/12/2021 21:44

Yep and I 100% deserved it too

OGenkiDesuKa · 21/12/2021 21:44

Me and my husband tell eachother all the time Grin

NiceTwin · 21/12/2021 21:45

Yes, ex boyfriend.
No, I didn't deserve it.

WithRosesAroundTheDoor · 21/12/2021 21:46

Yes they have.
No, I didn't deserve it. I merely requested that he finish his maths work. (Y3 pupil)

That was one of the more polite things that he said to me though.

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 21/12/2021 21:47

Yup, after sitting on the horn in my car because they just wouldn't move! The light was green, but vecause there were a lot of pedestrians about (end of a football match) after the 5th time the lights went from green to red I sat on the horn, he actually got out of his car and came to the window, told me he'd move when he could, I said just roll, people won't walk out in front of you, he said "oh go fuck yourself bitch" and walked back to his car.

I probably deserved it because I was being impatient, but I had a baby screaming in the back of the car because it was feeding time.

FenceSplinters · 21/12/2021 21:48

Yes. A kid at school has said it to me and I didn’t deserve it.

DrivingHomeChristmas · 21/12/2021 21:48

On a daily basis! In several languages- I foster teenagers. And no I don’t deserve it, but it doesn’t really bother me any more.

I thought teaching was a call! 😬

Only once by a customer and no I didn't deserve it. I was absolutely stunned but managed to smile sweetly and he stormed off.

Mypathtriedtokillme · 21/12/2021 21:55

I don’t think I’ve been told to go fuck myself but I’ve been told to Get fucked Or you can get fucked but I think that’s a regional thing.

EatSleepRantRepeat · 21/12/2021 21:56

Yeah loads of times. Usually because I've spoken up when they were being a dick. Doesn't stop me doing it and doesn't bother me.

grooveonthemove · 21/12/2021 21:58

No but I recently had a client who threatened to 'tear me a new one' Hmm An utter psychopath and liar who ended up getting a visit from the police.

I did have a friend who told me to 'fuck off or shut up' but it was 40 years ago and we fell out over a boy Xmas Grin

ohcantbeliveit · 21/12/2021 22:01

Yes, because I wouldn't upgrade their Sky TV package for free. I didn't deserve it 😂.

It was at the end of my shift and as he hung up, the time turned to 8pm so I got to leave exactly on time. It was great!

Iamtired123 · 21/12/2021 22:03

Yes by my mother when I was a child, I cant remember what I had done, I was probably being a brat but I definitely didn't deserve it. No child should be spoken to like that 😪

hardyloveit · 21/12/2021 22:04

Yes! But I think this depends where your from and the content. I think even if someone said it in an angry way I'd still laugh it off. Doesn't really mean any thing (I'm not too fussed in swearing or the meaning of each. ) they are just words - obviously sometimes not appropriate depending on the setting

FredWinnie · 21/12/2021 22:05

I think yes, but years ago and I probably did deserve it

PumpkinEye · 21/12/2021 22:05

You are right, no child should be spoken to like that.

Yes they have. An ex boss. I didn't deserve it and he was an abusive arse he went on to be arrested a bunch of times for physical fights in the workplace and then much worse things, so I got off lightly tbh.

DancerPrancerDonnerBlitzen · 21/12/2021 22:07

Only in jest or as a flippant remark during an argument with a sibling or something.

The people I really want to tell to go fuck themselves would get icy politeness from me rather than aggression. It's my version of go fuck yourself and I find it pretty useful. They can't exactly complain can they? Oh sorry, was I too civil for you? Ha! Fuckers. Take that.

Mychitchatdays · 21/12/2021 22:07

Loads of times. I've worked in retail, supermarkets and airports it's all in a days work.
It's only words and has absolutely zero effect on me.

ponkydonkey · 21/12/2021 22:08

No but I'm tempted to say it very often
Mainly to idiots

nannybeach · 21/12/2021 22:09

Someone cycling on a pavement, who knocked me over, definitely didn't deserve it
