Inspired by the excellent thread ’Just tell them to go fuck themselves’ - has anyone ever told YOU to go fuck yourself?

(and if so did you actually deserve it or not?)

About twice a week, at work. Once, by my exH. Once by some thick bitch at a Liam Gallagher gig in Cardiff. Socially, never.

CatDogAlpaca · 21/12/2021 23:21

Yes, we'll sort of. Was told to 'fuck off and die' by exh. He told ds to 'shut the fuck up' (ds was 9 at the time). Neither of us deserved it. He's a waste of oxygen.

KurtWildesChristmasNamechange · 21/12/2021 23:27

Loads of times by exh.

alloutofcareunits · 21/12/2021 23:43

Several times every week, I manage a children's home for teenagers. In my mind I don't deserve it as I'm usually trying to safeguard them, in their mind I deserve it as I'm 'being a cunt'

Fuuuuuckit · 22/12/2021 00:08

@CarrieBlue

I’m a teacher. I’ve lost count of how many times.
Same. At least once a week. Not my fault, I'm just the face of authority. Meh.
ChampionOfTheSun · 22/12/2021 01:09

I used to be a manager in a pub, so yes, I often got told to go fuck myself and I can't recall a time when it was justified. Usually over refusal of service/asking for ID

Redshoeblueshoe · 22/12/2021 01:23

Elfhame you are my hero. I try to do this with scammers, but yesterday they rang before I was actually awake so I may have resorted to Go fuck yourself, when I prefer to keep them talking. I want them to hang up on me. The longer they are talking to me , means less time scamming others

TooBigForMyBoots · 22/12/2021 01:29

Yes.
Sometimes.Xmas Blush
I have told others to go fuck themselves.Xmas Grin

Ihaveroyallyscrewedup · 22/12/2021 03:08

Lots of people, sometimes in jest, sometimes seriously, by family, by friends, when I worked in bars many moons ago, sometimes I’ve deserved it, sometimes not.

Alpenguin · 22/12/2021 03:17

My brother says it regularly whenever I say something he doesn’t like. You’d think that might be reasonable if I was saying awful things but generally it’s having a different opinion that doesn’t match his chauvinistic world view.

I probably say it to people more often. Usually from the safety of my car 😂

itsutterlyshit · 22/12/2021 03:21

Regularly. I used to work with offenders and it was one of the more pleasant things they used to say to me 😂

I asked one guy if he wanted a cup of tea or any food and was told to "go fuck yourself, in fact fuck of and die" that was his response to any question for a long weekend

checkedcloth · 22/12/2021 03:52

Yeah loads of times by patients.

Never deserved it, never let it bother me.

The time I was physically assaulted by a patient was another matter though and that did have a lasting impact on me and my confidence

GetInThereLewis · 22/12/2021 04:03

Yeah, quite a bit. I can be dickhead sometimes.

GetInThereLewis · 22/12/2021 04:04

*be A dickhead

TinselTitsAndGlitteryBits · 22/12/2021 04:44

I was in an abusive relationship.

That was one of the more mild things I was called Grin

PumpkinEye · 22/12/2021 07:09

@Elphame

Actually yes - just this morning.

I always count it a win when I wind up a scammer to this point. It was the NHS Covid scam if anyone wants to know.

They get angrier still when you laugh at their response

Well done! Xmas Smile

I rang my exh asking if I could have his permission to change our ds surname from his to mine, he hadn't seen ds for about 8yrs at this point.
He told me to go and fuck myself.
I hung up, waited about 10 minutes then rang him back.
"Right, I've done that" I said, "now can I have your permission?"
He hung up on me, haven't heard from him since.

user1019273703 · 22/12/2021 07:35

My dad, did not deserve it. Now we are no contact

Redshoeblueshoe · 22/12/2021 11:30

Seefooddiet that sounds like a result Xmas Grin

BatshitCrazyWoman · 22/12/2021 12:18

Yes, by my ex-husband. No, didn't deserve it.

TheCatShatInTheHat · 22/12/2021 12:20

Ex teacher - many, many times by both parents and children. Not by colleagues/ SLT!

Coldilox · 22/12/2021 16:33

I’m a police officer. I’ve been told that and far worse many a time.

Alarmset · 22/12/2021 16:37

Wow. No I don't think they have.

I did once get called a cunt in a roadrage/parking incident and I definitely didn't deserve that. The situation was all of his making.
