DP & I decided to bring our wedding plans forward from summer next year to February, we are both so excited. I told a friend recently and her response included ‘Wow! What's the rush? I thought it was in August.
Where? When? Etc., I'm surprised to be honest. It is really hard to fathom you are getting married!?! Hope you have a pre-nup for the girls sake….and with regards to him recently being unwell ‘BP plummeted that time, when he became unconscious, most likely from viagra or cialis. Doctors see it happen all the time in the morning...forgot to mention before...’

I feel old 😭 Bridget Jones reference.

Jelly fisher is basically someone who acts just like jelly fish, your swimming around minding your own business and suddenly getting stung by this rouge jelly fish that's just floating around. Completely unprovoked!

Its a bit off and bubble bursting. It sounded like she was OK with it being in August or was she always on the fence about it? Maybe she's feeling a bit left out as if all her friends are moving on and she isn't for some reason and if it was August she had a bit of a respite but now its happening sooner she will have to think about again.

Be honest with her and ask her outright, point out that the negative remarks are adding up, they are quite hurtful and does she have a problem with the whole thing and if so why? . At least then you will know what's going on and you won't have to wonder. It might save your friendship.
Perhaps to give her the benefit of the doubt, she doesn't realise how they add up, or was having a bad day or going through a bad time generally and was literally just speaking with out thinking. Or did you feel she was trying to talk you out of it?

However, if having raised it with her and letting her know how that makes you feel, she's still got negative opinions to voice, it might be prudent to take a step back.

It's very hard to work out which comments are from you and which are from her. But either way, cut the crap and don't be friends if you feel like this.

And it's she a doctor? Might explain the somewhat brusque attitude.

He doesn’t take Viagra. But he had a funny turn a while back related to low blood pressure and that was her ‘diagnosis’. She’s not a doctor. I think I was just a bit shocked. DP has been amazing with my DDs.

The Viagra comment is very odd if it was out of the blue. She's either jealous or doesn't like him for some reason.

Combined with the prenup comment, I think she's worried about him but can't say it directly to you. Maybe she was hoping by August that there was enough time for you to break up instead but now it's sooner it's definitely going ahead and she's not happy. I would listen to her concerns and also if anyone else has them.

Unless there's some back story on why she doesnt much like him, then it seems she may well be jealous. I would probably wonder why my friends were going through the hassle of bringing their wedding forward by a few months without a good reason, but I wouldnt be so bothered as to say anything rude about it!
