Farage next?

Joystir59 · 08/12/2021 09:52

Am I being unreasonable to think this is why so much is being made of the No 10 Christmas Party in the media right now? The powers that be have decided it's time for Boris to go, or indeed he's decided himself he has had enough.

Farage next what?

Unphased · 08/12/2021 10:22

I can’t believe it’s taken a year to surface, who has held on to this information and why?

toolazytothinkofausername · 08/12/2021 10:26

@Unphased

They should be arrested for obstructing the course of justice.
percythewitch · 08/12/2021 10:28

What's Farage got to do with anything?

Next for what?

Alonelonelylonersbadidea · 08/12/2021 10:29

I'm so confused right now.

Farage?
Egg nog?

Joystir59 · 08/12/2021 10:31

Farage next for PM.

I mean it was all "banter" until someone was either sacked or not invited to this year's cheese and wine meeting and they. Decided to tell on them .wtf Is that about.

Op I don't understand your point about Farage sorry.

Mrsjayy · 08/12/2021 10:32

God no why would he be PM ?

thetemptationofchocolate · 08/12/2021 10:33

Farage would need to be an MP before he could become PM.

Redcrayons · 08/12/2021 10:33

Farage isn’t a Tory. Or an MP.
He’s a knobber alright, but this hasn’t got anything to do with him.

CovidPassQuestion · 08/12/2021 10:33

What a ludicrous idea.

TooBigForMyBoots · 08/12/2021 10:34

Why do you think Farage will be the next PM?

PooWillyNameChange · 08/12/2021 10:34

What on earth are you talking about? How would Farage become PM? Hmm

CorrBlimeyGG · 08/12/2021 10:35

Why now? It's a distraction. The NHS is on its knees, care homes are shutting down due to insufficient staffing, gov are trying to weaken the powers of judicial review, that's just for starters. But a naughty party you say?

InCahootswithOrwell · 08/12/2021 10:35

@Joystir59

Farage next for PM.
He’s never managed to get elected as an MP, so I doubt it.
Seeline · 08/12/2021 10:35
Confused

Do you know how the political system works?

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 08/12/2021 10:35

@Joystir59

Farage next for PM.
Christ on a moronic bike.

He's not even an MP. He's never managed to be elected the many times he's stood for parliament.

Redcrayons · 08/12/2021 10:36

@Joystir59

Farage next for PM.
There would have to be another general election, which Farage would have to win. Is he even in a political party at the moment? You’re either taking the piss or are woefully uneducated on British politics.
Twinstudy · 08/12/2021 10:37

Farage? How could he be PM? He's neither an MP or a Tory. Lots of terrible potential candidates to take over from Johnson but thankfully Farage isn't one of them (not that the others are much better. GoveEnvy(not envy))

TheLeadbetterLife · 08/12/2021 10:37

Farage has tried seven times to become an MP. He was beaten by a man dressed as a dolphin once. He's a grifter, making his money by agitating from the sidelines and pretending there are simple solutions to complex problems. He has absolutely no interest in actually trying to run anything, and never has. If you've fallen for the grift, OP, more fool you.

girlmom21 · 08/12/2021 10:38

He's not even a member of the Conservative party... are you ok?

sst1234 · 08/12/2021 10:39

It is absolutely reasonable to question why this has surfaced a year later. Those in power have decided they have had enough of Johnson.

Mrsjayy · 08/12/2021 10:41

Yes I think "they" are pushing for the vote of no confidence he won't quit. It's all so corrupt and sleazy !

PurpleDaisies · 08/12/2021 10:44

In what way could Farage be PM?
You have zero understanding of how our parliamentary democracy works if you think that’s possible.

Nice goady thread though. Hmm

pigsDOfly · 08/12/2021 10:49

What has the title of your post got to do with Johnson and the conservative party?

Makes absolutely no sense, unless I've missed something overnight vis a vis Farage and the Conservatives.
