To ask who would make your heart sink if you were a contestant on The Chase?

Mine would be Anne. She is a machine and seems to know everything about everything! I would probably pack up and go home right there and then as soon as she came out and sat down.

The beast

I saw a spreadsheet from someone who ran the stats once, Mark was the best closely followed by Anne, can’t remember which way round Paul and Shaun were, then Jenny was bottom (but to be fair this was a few years ago so she was quite new)

Anne is my favourite though, I would be chuffed if she came out even though she’d probably kick my arse!

I think Sean must be the lowest one by now, every time I see it he seems to lose the most!

Definitely Anne and The Beast. If I saw them I'd not be taking any risks.

I love Shaun, he’s my favourite Chaser. But yeah, he’s definitely the worst at the final chase. He’s good in the head-to-head but way too hesitant under rapid fire questions.

Mark and Paul are both really good. I’d least like to take on Mark, because he’s very good and I also just don’t like him as much as the others.

@Whadda He's quite a handsome guy, his excess weight was hiding his features but since he's lost quite a few stone, you can tell how good looking he is. My own crush is on Bradders though...

The Beast is hot!! I don’t know if it’s the looks or the intelligence or the arrogance but it works for me

Shaun throws a few I reckon. He has a huge heart, and sometimes I think he wants the opponents to win. You can tell by the little half smile and when his eyes go all twinkly.

Mark seems very very competitive, definitely think Shaun throws a few. Anne can be a bit slower, shes not as consistent as mark

I've seen him like that. He marched off raging 😂😂.

Shaun was a quizmaster at an event I went to, he got really flustered and messed up the answers on some of them, then got a bit arsey. To be fair though some of the people at the event were too happy that he cocked up and took the piss. His partner was really lovely.

To answer the question, I would be terrified if it was Anne, she is amazing. I'm not keen on the new Chaser, though.

Was your episode the one when he hammered his fist down and stormed off set? I always thought that was contrived but perhaps it wasn’t.

Mine hasn't been aired yet. He didn't storm off but he was very stroppy

I love him in the American chase. The female equivalent of Bradley Walsh is brilliant. The contestants are much cleverer than over here as well and the prizes are bigger.
