Woo thread - but I have a poltergeist

Just had to walk into my local shop for ANOTHER bottle of wine because I bought one and it has vanished into thin air.

The guy was like wasn’t you here half an hour ago 😫 yes I was! Asked did I leave my wine I paid for here, nope..

Same thing happened a few weeks ago with some cigarettes and before that a large box of chocolate.

Deffo not DH, or DC he is 8 (and currently asleep) so deffo not smoking and drinking behind my back!

We deffo haven’t drunk it had a late dinner and was looking forward to opening, bought it and took it him, left it by the sink.

so unless I am going mental I must be haunted

It seems your poltergeist Is living his best afterlife, that’s the type of ghost I want to be.

Can we swap poltergeists? Mine keeps turning all the sodding taps on at various times of the day / night

This is the kind of thing that would make me worry that someone was living in my loft 🤣

Have you tried telling them that they win, and asking for the wine back?

I realise I sound completely BONKERS, but that’s what I do with my poltergeist and the item magically reappears.

I do also have a basement (I live in a very old Victorian house 🤣) I shan’t be going down their tonight because I have managed to scare my self silly. 🤣

My washing machine and tumble dryer is down there and it just going to have to wait until day light 🤣

That is one creepy cellar... I doubt the ghost would be camping out down there though - but grim for a ghost who likes wine and chocolate.

Well I used to have things disappear into thin air in my old flat BUT they never took my wine, unforgivable! CF ghost, serve them notice.

I used to live in a houseshare with two others. We had the upper flat in a convetted Victorian house. Food and drink kept going missing. We thought it was each other until we realised it wasn’t any of us. Eventually it turned out it was the bloke who lived in the flat downstairs and who had somehow got a key for our place and had been letting himself in and nicking our food.

Ok I think I can type now without the poltergeist messing if up?
