These horrible things give me the creeps. I don’t mean actual implements to crack nuts, I mean the soldiers that are everywhere nowadays.

Saw some of these Nutcracker things the other day - maybe 3ft tall.

A few years ago our local park had some 6-foot tall ones on display, I wouldn't go anywhere near the creepy fuckers. Their teeth freak me out.

Aww I love mine! He’s jolly and less cutesy than lots of decorations! That said, a Jewish friend once visited at Christmas and apparently had never come across one before and looking at mine with a mixture of confusion and fear asked “Who’s this…soldier?” She wasn’t impressed.

I like them! I’m valiantly resisting buying a pair to add to my decorations this year.

I love them! When I win the lottery and have my huge house, I’m going to have two massive ones standing outside at Christmas time. And I absolutely do not care if it sounds tacky.

I have one I bought when I went on a German Christmas Market trip and I named him Otto. I've never noticed if he has teeth like the cheap UK ones.

They’re supposed to ward off malevolent energies and protect you. That might be why they look s bit scary. I love them and they flank my mantelpieces at Christmas.

If you look at the close up pictures of that one's face it has a massive gap between its nose and mouth. I can't unsee it and it looks completely bizarre.
