How strong are Wetherspoons cocktail pitchers?

Sorry posting here for traffic. Going out for cocktails and the pitchers have 4 shots of spirit in them. If we drank 1 pitcher each we wouldn't be drunk would we? I try to avoid getting too inebriated! Thanks

They taste like juice and not like the cocktail they’re meant to be…. A cocktail bar for a proper cocktail would be what I’d take her for.

Update for anyone interested. We had a pitcher of Pornstar Martini and some sort of Kopperberg gin thing. Both tasted of zero alcohol. Loads of ice and lemonade. The reason we bought 2 is they're 2 for £12.75. 2 pitchers between 3 of us. After that I had a glass of wine which had far more effect! I just thought I'd start DD and her friend off on something light. The most she's ever drunk is 2 small cans of g&t ☺️

The alcohol content depends on the spirits used, and most contain 2 shots (50ml) of a 35-40% spirit and two shots of a 15-25% liqueur diluted with about 1ltr of juice/mixer. Overall you end up with up to 32ml alcohol in a pitcher, similar to a 250ml glass of wine with a 13% alcohol content or a pint of lager with 5% alcohol content. If you buy a pitcher expect to get more effect from the sugar content than the alcohol 🙄

Not sure that op will still be wondering this, over three years later...

I’ve done stronger pisses than spoons pitchers 🙈
