Just been to Costa for a iced latte and a croissant, baby was up at about half 4 so caffeine definitely needed.

I've not had one from Costa before but their croissants are straight from the pack, not heated in the oven, so just bready and floppy, not crisp and soft inside. Disappointing. don't think coffee shops should serve croissant unless they are cooked in the oven.

YABU - Croissants straight from the pack as they come are fine

YANBU - this is a crime against pastry

@TSSDNCOP

In fact the only thing wrong with a Pret croissant (any flavour) is ghat that are too small. I would prefer one the size of a small car.
🤣 Even though I said they were overpriced- Pret is kind of a still worth it every time over priced.!

Bea it's a place called Bread and Honey in Leicester. Serves Monmouth coffee too. Closes early unfortunately though.

If you're ever in this neck of the woods St Martins Coffee shop is also excellent.

Thank you - I have made a note in. case I'm ever near there
