Long queue of people waiting to be served in q restaurant lady been served at front pulls out a £20 note and unwittingly drags out a sanitary towel which falls onto the floor and she is none the wiser. Nobody said anything and I felt a bit embarrassed to tell her. What would you do.

Go and pick it up and give it to her.
Why would you be embarrassed over sanitary products?

Are you an adult?

Just hand it to her or say sorry you dropped something

Well unless it was a used one, I would have picked it up and given it to her......

A sealed one presumably rather than used?

I would discretely move it to the side with my foot, no point in potentially embarrassing her. Probably shouldn't feel that way as it's normal but you never know.

A used sanitary towel?

I can't imagine why you would be embarrassed to pick up a packaged towel and hand it to someone

I'm so glad someone came here with this. I almost went there but assumed the OP wouldn't understand and would think I'm a prat!

You really think a woman was carrying a loose, unwrapped, used sanitary towel in her bag?

I have a new unused pantyliner in my purse. It’s not in a packet. It’s about the same size as a note. It looks like a piece of paper and if I dropped it I’m sure most people would think it was a shopping list or something like that.
NO ONE puts a used sanitary product back in their bag!

Wouldn't you be more mortified if everyone around you knew you'd dropped it and you had no clue?

My work here is done.

Well it was all crumpled and unwrapped but possibly unused.

It reminded me of the time that I was getting something out of my bag at the till and a tampon flew out of my bag and landed near some guys feet

That's why I can't cope with events of this nature
